Then, the lord of the elephant gave that golden lotus to the very beautiful female elephant who came first. She took the lotus and respectfully wore it on her head. Later, another beautiful female elephant approached and saw the lotus located between the foreheads of the very beautiful female elephant, thinking, "This lotus must be despising me, that's why the lord of the herd gave this flower to it." With extreme jealousy in her heart, she left her elephant lord and went elsewhere. It saw the elephant lord giving the lotus to another female elephant, the white lotus emitting fragrance, but it was filled with jealousy and would no longer eat grass, even if meditating, it would not drink water after eating food. With non-Dharma discriminations, who is a sentient being? The flames of jealousy burn, who will increase in order to burn themselves? Who does not walk the wrong path? Who is hungry because of jealousy? Who does not dwell in the house of the mind? Those constant ones sleep peacefully. Then, the beautiful female elephant sat in the middle of the rock of Mount Piercer (place name), in a place shaded by trees, with legs crossed, and saw a Pratyekabuddha wearing red Dharma robes, with eyes unmoving like in meditation, like the eyes of a drunken shangs-shangs bird in a painting, taking water lilies from the lake to offer. The sun was obscured by meditation, the garland of water lilies adorned the Muni (Buddha). Light shines everywhere, having branches of light appearing in order, like stars in the water at dusk. Then, that female elephant stood next to Mount Piercer (place name), thinking, "With this root of virtue of offering to the Pratyekabuddha, may I become a queen in the future, in order to kill this fragrant elephant."
