ལུས་ཀྱི་པགས་པའི་མདོག་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ཅན་གྱི་གཟུགས་བཟང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །འཕྲལ་དུ་དེ་ལ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལས་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ཅན་གྱི་གོས་བྱུང་བས་ལུས་ལ་བཀབ་ཅིང་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་དབུ་རྒྱན་དང༌། རྣ་ཆ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་རྒྱན་གྱི་ཁྱད་པར་རྣམས་བྱུང་བས་བརྒྱན་ཏོ། །ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་མེ་ཏོག་ཀར་ནི་ཀ་དང༌། ཨུཏྤ་ལ་དང༌། ཙམ་པ་ཀ་དང༌། པདྨ་དང༌། ཀུ་མུ་ཏ་དང༌། མན་དཱ་ར་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཆར་ཆེན་པོ་ཕབ་པ་དང༌། ཀྱེ་གཞོན་ནུ་སུའི་བུ་ཡིན་པ་བདེན་པར་སྨྲོས་ཤིག །མི་སྡུག་པས་སྨྲས་པ། འདིར་ཅི་ཞིག་བརྟག་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ང་ནི་བདེན་པ་ཉིད་དུ་དེད་དཔོན་རྣ་ཅན་གྱི་བུ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཨེ་མའོ་གཞོན་ནུ་འདིས་ནི་ང་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཡང་བསྟིངས་སོ་སྙམ་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། གཞོན་ནུ་ངས་ནི་ཤིན་ཏུ་མི་སྡུག་གོ་ཞེས་ཐོས་ན། ཁྱེད་ནི་གཟུགས་བཟང་ན། དེ་ཐབས་གང་གིས་གཟུགས་བཟང་བར་གྱུར། གཞོན་ནུ་མི་སྡུག་པས་དགའ་བས་མིག་གདངས་ཏེ་སྒྲ་གསང་ཆེན་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། དེང་ནི་དབུལ་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མེས། །སེམས་ནི་ཡོངས་སུ་གདུངས་པས་ན། །ཤིང་གི་ཡལ་གའི་རྩེར་འཛེགས་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་རང་ཉིད་ལྟུང་བར་བྱས། །ལྷུང་བས་ཡན་ལག་སྣད་པས་གཟིར། །བདག་ནི་བ་རྒྱལ་བ་ཉིད་དུ་གྱུར། །སེམས་ནི་དབུགས་མེད་མ་ཐོན་པར། །སྐད་ཅིག་ཙམ་ཞིག་རྣམ་པར་གནས། །དེ་ནས་རྣམ་གཟིགས་རྫོགས་སངས་རྒྱས། །སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་རྗེས་བརྩེ་བ། །མགོན་པོ་བདག་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེའི་ཕྱིར། །སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ནི་འདིར་བྱོན་ཏོ། །སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་མཚན་འཆང་ཞིང༌། །པགས་པ་གསེར་ནི་སྦྱངས་པ་འདྲ། །བཙོ་མའི་གསེར་འདྲའི་འོད་རྣམས་ཀྱིས། །ཕྱོགས་བཅུ་དག་ནི་འགེངས་པར་མཛད། །དེ་སྐུའི་འོད་ཟེར་རབ་བསིལ་བས། །བདག་ལ་རེག་པ་ཙམ་གྱིས་ན། །མཉམ་མེད་བདུད་རྩིའི་རྒྱུན་གྱིས་ནི། །འདི་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཚིམ་པར་མཛད། །བཀྲེས་སྐོམ་ལྟུང་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དང༌། །མ་ལུས་བདག་གི་བཀྲ་མི་ཤིས། །དེ་ཡི་མོད་ལ་ཞི་གྱུར་ཅིང༌། །བདག་ནི་སེམས་ཅན་རྙེད་པར་གྱུར། །འདི་ཅི་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྤྲོ་བཅས་པར། །བདག་ལངས་དེ་ཚེ་ཐུབ་པ་ཡི། །ཤིན་ཏུ་མདངས་བཟངས་འགྲོ་བ་ཡི། །ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའི་གནས་གྱུར་མཐོང༌། །བདག་གིས་བལྟ་བྱའི་རིན་ཆེན་དེ། །མགོན་པོ་དཔལ་གྱི་མཆོག་གིས་ནི། །ཕྱོགས་ རྣམས་རྒྱས་པར་གསལ་མཛད་པ། །མཐོང་ནས་བདག་སྔར་དད་པར་གྱུར། །དེ་ནས་རབ་དགའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་སུ། །བདག་གིས་གོས་ཀྱི་དུམ་བུ་ནི། །ཡུང་བས་བཙོས་པ་དེ་ཉིད་ལ། །མཆོག་ཏུ་དགའ་བས་ཕུལ་བར་གྱུར། །ཀར་ནི་ཀ་ཡི་མེ་ཏོག་གཅིག། བདག་གིས་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་བཟང་དེ་ལ། །གཏོར་བ་དེ་ཡང་ཐུབ་པ་ཡི། །སྟེང་དུ་གདུགས་བཞིན་གནས་པར་གྱུར། །དེས་ན་དགའ་ཞིང་མགུ་བ་ཡིས། 那个丑陋的人也生起了极大的信心。由于那极大信心的力量，他向圆满正等觉的胜观如来的双足顶礼，开始用洪亮的声音祈愿：双足至尊的这个布施，以此愿我从今以后，彻底舍弃丑陋的形貌，愿我获得美好的自身。愿我拥有金色的面容，穿戴如同精炼黄金般的衣物，愿我的身体和口中，散发出如同檀香和莲花的香气。愿我显现出如同黄金般的颜色，令世间一切众生心生欢喜。愿我从一切疾病中解脱，在一切论典中到达彼岸。愿我时时拥有财富和正确的知见，彻底摆脱一切痛苦。愿我是众人中最殊胜的，值得所有人瞻仰，愿我被一切饰品庄严。愿我成就圆满佛陀的一切事业，愿我令一切众生欢喜。愿我成为无垢功德、具足荣耀的天神，愿我拥有安乐和一切资具。他做了这个祈愿的同时，那个丑陋的童子立刻消失不见，变成了一个美丽动人、肌肤呈现金色光泽的俊美之人。顷刻间，天空中降下金色的衣物，覆盖在他的身上，并以珍宝头饰和耳环等各种饰品来庄严他。诸天也降下了大量的鲜花雨，包括迦尼迦花、乌 উৎপལ་花、瞻波迦花、莲花、拘物头花、曼陀罗花等等，还降下了天界的檀香、沉香、红花和达摩罗树叶粉末的雨，并说道：奇哉！这是为如来所作布施的殊胜种子所生出的正苗啊！天上的鲜花和粉末雨降落，没过膝盖，遍布整个花园。之后，圆满正等觉胜观如来从那个花园中出来，前往具财富花园。船主询问他的妻子：贤妻，那个出生后就给你带来如此不幸的儿子在哪里？她回答说：他在花园里。

That ugly person also developed great faith. Due to the power of that great faith, he prostrated to the two feet of the Fully Enlightened Buddha Vipashyin, and began to pray with a loud voice: "This offering of the supreme two-legged one, by this may I from now on, completely abandon the ugly form, may I obtain a beautiful self. May I have a golden face, wear clothes like refined gold, and may my body and mouth emit a fragrance like sandalwood and lotus. May I appear like the color of gold, pleasing to the minds of all beings in the world. May I be liberated from all diseases, and reach the other shore in all treatises. May I always possess wealth and correct knowledge, completely free from all suffering. May I be the most excellent of all, worthy of being seen by all, may I be adorned with all ornaments. May I accomplish all the deeds of the perfect Buddha, may I please all sentient beings. May I be a flawless, virtuous, glorious deity, may I possess happiness and all resources." At the same time as he made this prayer, that ugly boy immediately disappeared, and became a beautiful and attractive person with skin the color of gold. Instantly, golden clothes descended from the sky and covered his body, and he was adorned with various ornaments such as precious headdresses and earrings. The gods also rained down a great shower of flowers, including karnika flowers, utpala flowers, champaka flowers, lotus flowers, kumuda flowers, and mandārava flowers, and also rained down heavenly sandalwood, agaru, saffron, and tamala leaf powder, and said: "How wonderful! This is the correct sprout born from the excellent seed of the offering made to the Tathagata!" The heavenly flowers and powder rain fell and stayed throughout the garden, up to the knees. Then, the Fully Enlightened Buddha Vipashyin emerged from that garden and went to the Wealthy Garden. The boatman asked his wife: "Virtuous woman, where is that son who, since his birth, has brought you such misfortune?" She replied: "He is in the garden."

He said, "The prince's son is very ugly to look at, so he is called Ugly." Then the captain with ears went to that garden with very quick steps, and saw that ugly youth, whose body was golden in color, wearing a delicate yellow silk robe, adorned with all kinds of ornaments, pleasing to the eye, shining with supreme glory like a young son of the gods. Having seen him, he said, "Alas, whoever has such a son is a blessed person!" And he said to the youth, "Boy, whose son are you?" He said, "There is a captain named Ear-having, I am his son." The captain with ears thought, "This youth is mocking me!" Thinking thus, he was very amazed, and looked without blinking, and again said to the youth, "Hey youth, tell the truth, whose son are you?" The ugly one said, "What is there to investigate here? I am truly the son of the captain with ears." He said, "Alas, this youth is mocking me again!" Thinking thus, he said, "Youth, I heard that you are very ugly, but now you look so handsome, by what means did you become handsome?" The ugly youth happily opened his eyes wide and said in a loud voice, "Now the fire of poverty's suffering, my heart is completely tormented, I climbed to the top of a tree branch, and I made myself fall down. Having fallen, my limbs were struck and pained, I became like a cripple. Before my mind lost its breath, it remained for only a moment.
