Actions of body and speech do not exist. Dharma that does not decay does not exist. Offering to stupas has no fruit. Things that happen now are always latent. Entering into the faultlessness of seeing conditioned phenomena, these are the root vows of the majority proponents. Also, the root vows of the Dharmaguptakas are that the Buddha is not a member of the Sangha. The great fruits that arise from the Buddha do not arise from the Sangha. Even in the realm of the gods, there is pure conduct. Worldly dharmas exist, these are the root vows of the Dharmaguptakas. Among them, the vows of the Kāśyapīyas are that vipāka, the dharmas of vipāka, are also dharmas that will arise. There is that which is abandoned and not fully known, and they also accept everything of the Dharmaguptakas. These are the vows of the Kāśyapīyas. The vows of the red-robed ones are that there is no person. Furthermore, among the distinctions of the Sarvāstivādins, those who expound the treatises of the supreme teachers, the root vows of those who speak of transference are that the five skandhas are transferred from this world to the next. Without realizing the path, there is no cessation of the skandhas. There are skandhas with root downfalls. A person is not seen in ultimate reality. Everything is impermanent, these are the vows of transference, and in such seven aspects, the vows of the Sarvāstivādins abide. Also, the vows of the Vātsīputrīyas are that what is taken up, what possesses taking up, is nominal. No dharma is transferred from this world to the next. A person is transferred after taking up the five skandhas. Conditioned phenomena have moments and non-moments. A person is the very skandha that is taken up, and it should not be said to be the same or different. Nirvāṇa should not be said to be the same or different from all dharmas. Nirvāṇa should not be said to exist or not exist. The five aggregates of consciousness are neither with desire nor without desire, this is the
