Ra 'gyur. If there is one patch and it cannot be used, it is not wrong to look for another, this is the second branch. A householder is also a householder, this is the third branch, and not a relative, this is the fourth branch, searching and begging. If one possesses these four branches mentioned above, it becomes a discarding offense if one searches and begs from others and obtains it. The following two cases are also the same. The origin of the two discarding offenses that arise from sewing below is also that if one begs from a householder who is not a relative, it becomes a discarding offense, similar to the origin of the bowl. The sewer and the benefactor are different. The thread for sewing is also a householder, and the benefactor who provides the materials is also a householder, both of which are discarding offenses if begged and obtained from non-relatives. If one is a relative, it becomes an offense of wrong-doing. There is no offense if one obtains benefits and bowls from non-relatives, except from the father's relatives. A monk can damage other things that are relatives, and there is no offense if he begs from relatives. It is said that begging while possessing a bowl that has already been offered, and secretly buying and selling to relatives, are both offenses of wrong-doing because of trading for the sake of profit. It is an offense of wrong-doing to beg and search from others when one already has a bowl that has been offered. If it succeeds, it is a root offense. It becomes a discarding offense if one begs and obtains a bowl that has already been offered. If one thinks one has it but does not, it is a reduction. If one has a bowl that has been offered and begs for another one, and the previous bowl is stolen from the chest by a thief, it is an offense of wrong-doing when the latter bowl is obtained. It is also an offense of wrong-doing if one does not have a bowl that has been offered but thinks one does, and begs and obtains it from others. For one's own utensils. Even if one buys an extra bowl with one's own bowl and possessions, it is an offense of wrong-doing if it is not offered and ten days have passed. These are all in the case of having them. It is an offense of wrong-doing if one begs from a non-relative when one has goods to buy a bowl, and obtains the bowl. In another case, it is an offense of wrong-doing if one begs from a non-relative when one already has a bowl, and leaves it with the other person without taking it into one's own hands, in order to exchange it for something good. It is an offense of wrong-doing if one exchanges one's own bowl and utensils for the good things of others out of faith. Abandon to the Sangha.

Afterwards, regarding the relinquishment of robes and other items, it is explained in one day. It is not like relinquishing to one bhikshu and then taking it back. Rather, the bowl is relinquished to the Sangha, and the method is explained below. For multiple bowls, consider relinquishing to one person. Even if one has one's own already offered bowl, if one begs for six or seven extra bowls, then choose the best one from among them and relinquish it to the Sangha. Also, relinquish others. It is not permissible to relinquish one good bowl to the Sangha as before. One must keep one's already offered bowl and then give the others to a friend who has no bowl, relinquishing them completely. This is for those who have renounced. According to the Mūlasarvāstivāda Vinaya, relinquishing the bowl is not for those who have renounced in the manner of "silent abiding," but for those who have renounced in the manner of "the Buddha's way," relinquish the other bowls and give the bad one to others. In the Sangha, give the worst bowl to the bhikshu who is going to relinquish the bowl, distribute and receive. That damaged bowl is distributed by the appointed bhikshu, starting from the elders downwards, saying, "Whoever wants it, take it," and the method of distribution is explained below. It is done by the appointed one. The bhikshu who distributes the bowl is appointed one day in advance through the Sangha's request and petition karma. The next day, after the Sangha has gathered, he says this: The bhikshu appointed by the Sangha says to the Sangha, "Tomorrow I will distribute the bowl, please gather all the Sangha," and proclaims and states according to the language stated below in the Sutra. "Tomorrow, I, the venerable one, will distribute the bowl without a bowl, all of you take my bowl and come into the Sangha," and so on. The appointed bhikshu respectfully speaks these words one day in advance, until "Please gather the Sangha." In order to abide, one must strive. At the place where the Sangha gathers to distribute the bowl, the responsible bhikshu prepares cushions, mandalas, and cleaning utensils, etc., and strikes the ghanta. He begins to generate intention and offers. The responsible bhikshu places the bowl that has caused the offense of relinquishment at the edge of the Sangha, joins his palms, and, according to the language stated below in the Sutra, expresses reverence to the Sangha and shows it: "Who wants this bowl?"
