If medication is needed, the monk administering the medication cannot leave. If they cannot leave, how should the medication ritual be performed? Explain in detail and then leave. Perform the work of a barber, together with those who share the same precepts and practice celibacy, or in a very secluded place. If shaving hair, monks and novices, or shaving nuns and female novices should also shave. Like before, shaving should be done in a secluded place. If a part of the bed is broken, repair it. If a leg of the bed is broken, if a monk carpenter knows how, repair it in a hidden and secluded place. For the sake of the Three Jewels, string together rosaries. For the sake of offering to the Three Jewels, even stringing flower garlands in a hidden and secluded place is not a fault. Also, when offering to the Three Jewels, draw things that are not like sentient beings. Like a mandala, draw for the sake of offering to the Three Jewels, do not draw the form of sentient beings. If you draw it, it is a fault. Likewise, that is for inquiring. Like before, not to mention looking at drawing the form of sentient beings, even thinking of drawing the form of sentient beings and drawing a line is a fault. If someone who practices the same celibacy dies, make offerings to the body. If a monk dies, his friends should bathe him and make offerings with sandalwood and saffron, etc. The same goes for nuns. If there are no creatures, cremate. Like before, if there are no worms in the corpse of the deceased, such as a corpse with wounds, cremate the corpse. By examining whether it is eaten by demons. Like before, cremation, if it is correctly determined that there are no worms, cremate. Dig or throw into the river. Like before, if there are worms, or if cremation is not possible due to wind and rain, bury it underground or throw it into the river. If it is not possible to bury it underground or throw it into the water, throw it in a valley. The head should face north, lying on the right side. When discarding the corpse, place it in this way. Place the bundle of roots as a pillow. Place a bundle of grass as a pillow. Cover with grass or leaves. Cover with grass or leaves from above. Recite verses of listening to the Dharma and giving. After transporting the corpse, recite one chapter of the impermanent Dharma and the four-line verse spoken by the Buddha. Wash together with the clothes that touched it. Wash the clothes that hold the corpse and the entire body. Others wash their hands and feet. Those who did not touch the corpse wash their four limbs and face. After prostrating to the stupa, enter. After transporting the corpse, return

Having prostrated to the stupa, I enter my dwelling. There are two kinds of stupas: those with retinues and those like ascetic practices. Among the two kinds of stupas, one is without a life-pillar and spokes. The other is made with four small rooms on four sides, in which Buddha images are placed. This method is suitable for ordination. The bones of a deceased monk or ascetic can be placed inside the stupa. Doing so is auspicious. As before, placing in the stupa should be for those with discipline and merit. Like all of the Buddha. The Buddha's stupa should be without curves and protrusions. It has four tiers, a horse-shoe, an egg shape, an inverted bowl, a life-pillar, thirteen umbrellas, and an easily unfolded umbrella are similar. All Buddha's stupas should be built like this: build four tiers from the ground. On top of that, make a horse-shoe. On top of that, make a vase, and on top of that, make a square wooden block. On top of that, erect a life-pillar. Attach thirteen spokes to the life-pillar. On top of that, put up an umbrella. For a Pratyekabuddha, everything is the same except for the easily unfolded umbrella. The Pratyekabuddha's stupa is also the same as before, except that it does not have an umbrella. The number of fruits of the Shravakas is only one. If a Shravaka monk who has attained the stream-enterer fruit dies, the tiers are the same as before, and the spokes are made into two. For a once-returner, make three spokes. For a non-returner, make four. For an Arhat, make five. In front of the Tathagata, in his land, just like the place where he served in the past, the position has changed. If a Shravaka's stupa is built next to the Tathagata's stupa, then build Maudgalyayana's and Shariputra's stupas in the front. Ananda is built in the back. Kashyapa is built next to it, and other Arhats' stupas are built on the left and right. Here, it is not possible not to arrange them according to age. Build the stupa as before, under the Buddha, arrange them according to the age order of the Arhats. For the inferior, just throw them away anywhere. The stupa of the five monks should be made round, without a life-pillar and spokes. Build it outside the Sangha's monastery. Like before, the monk's stupa
