因此，为了这个目的，即使砍树也被认为是重要的。佛塔中也包括了佛法。那么，如何展示砍伐的仪式呢？在七天或八天前，在其面前设置坛城，供奉香、花、熏香、灯和食子，诵读三部经，讲述布施，并宣告说：“这棵树是为佛塔和僧团而砍伐的，住在这棵树上的神灵，请到别处去寻找住所。”用这些话语来告知。也就是说，要按照这些方法和理由来做，并且要砍伐。如果出现火烧、流血、树枝摇动、树叶开裂等变化，那么就要对树进行布施，赞叹慷慨，不做赞叹。也就是说，砍树的时候，如果不相信，不给予，就按照这种方式来做：因为三宝是功德的田地，如果供养它，就会变得更好，要广泛地赞叹，如果吝啬，就会变得狭隘和不舒服，要讲述这种成熟的不赞叹。即使这样做了，如果变化不停止，那该怎么办呢？就是不停止，不砍伐。减少。什么是重要的认知呢？就是“不损害”。也就是说，如果不损害，在知情的情况下砍伐，就会有过失。那是什么呢？就是“不区分种子和洗涤”。也就是说，五种种子和树木等洗涤的不同形态，如果不区分，在知情的情况下像上面那样做，就会有过失。如果损害了什么呢？就是“直到草尖被损害”。也就是说，即使是草尖被损害，也会有过失。怎么做才会有过失呢？就是“无论怎样都行”。即使摇动树木，树叶和果实掉落，也会有过失。用草、泥土和土地等压住，也会有过失。丢弃洗涤物等，如果损坏了，也会有过失。放在风和热中，如果晒干了，也会有过失。即使晒干，铺在干燥的地方晒，也会有过失。

Therefore, for this purpose, even cutting down a tree is considered important. The Dharma is also included within a stupa. So, how is the ritual of cutting down shown? Seven or eight days in advance, set up a mandala in front of it, offer incense, flowers, incense sticks, lamps, and tormas, recite the three sutras, explain generosity, and proclaim, "This tree is being cut down for the sake of the stupa and the Sangha, and the deity residing in this tree, please go and find another dwelling." Inform with these words. That is to say, do according to these methods and reasons, and cut it down. If changes such as fire, bleeding, shaking branches, and cracking leaves occur, then give alms to the tree, praise generosity, and do not praise. That is to say, when cutting down a tree, if you do not believe and do not give, do it in this way: because the Three Jewels are the field of merit, if you offer to it, it will become better, praise it extensively, and if you are stingy, it will become narrow and uncomfortable, and tell of this maturing disapproval. Even if you do this, if the change does not stop, what should you do? That is, do not stop, do not cut down. Reduce. What is important cognition? It is "do not harm." That is to say, if you do not harm, and cut down knowingly, there will be fault. What is that? It is "do not distinguish between seeds and washing." That is to say, the different forms of washing of the five seeds and trees, etc., if you do not distinguish, and knowingly do as above, there will be fault. If something is damaged? It is "until the tip of the grass is damaged." That is to say, even if the tip of the grass is damaged, there will be fault. How will there be fault if you do it? It is "whatever you do is fine." Even if you shake the tree and the leaves and fruits fall, there will be fault. Pressing down with grass, mud, and earth, etc., will also be faulty. Discarding washing, etc., if it is damaged, there will also be fault. Placing it in the wind and heat, if it is dried, there will also be fault. Even if it is dried, laying it out in a dry place to dry will also be faulty.
