One should be instructed to "Abide here." Emphasizing the necessity is also like this. It is like saying, "From now on, you should strive to learn recitation, chanting, and subduing spirits, etc." One should be instructed, "For these thoughts of renunciation, by all means accumulate and strive." One should also be instructed, "Correctly understand and explain the precepts." One should also be instructed, "Know and accomplish." As for the others, when receiving the Bhikshu vows, because they are included in the precepts, I will only give a brief indication, and the others will be taught by your Khenpo and Acharya." One should also be instructed, "Be respectful." Because, for the teachings of supreme wisdom, it is difficult to obtain the Bhikshu vows, so do not despise it. The completely perfect one fully knows, what is declared with the true name, the beautiful things are completely manifested, the completely pure one receives the Bhikshu vows. As it is said, therefore, use these two verses to instruct, "Be respectful." It means, "Accomplish by exhorting with skillful means." That is, be cautious, exhorting with skillful means, "Accomplish the fruits of the Shramana, etc." Instruct, "Accomplish." It is not that one instructs without skillful means or cause, "Accomplish the fruits of the Shramana, etc." After receiving the Bhikshu vows, the initial three prostrations, etc., will be explained in detail in the objects of Karma, so I will not say it here. The ritual of the Bhikshu vows is complete. Because after renunciation and receiving the Bhikshu vows, one cannot act arbitrarily, so without the permission of the abbot, one cannot do anything while living there. The abbot here refers to the Khenpo or Acharya. The resident refers to the disciple or attendant. Things refer to the affairs of recitation, chanting, alms bowl, and Dharma robes, etc. If one says that all affairs must be reported before they can be done? Except for sweeping, preparing toothpicks, circumambulating the stupa with the temple walls, and walking from the temple to a distance of forty-nine cubits. That is to say, even if one walks a distance of forty-nine cubits, if there is something to do, one needs to ask. There are also two kinds of things, big beginnings and small beginnings. Among them, the small beginning is greeting illnesses and

It is about women's talk, shaking and beating clothes, and dusting, etc. If these are asked, they will turn into disputes, so do not ask. How should the abbot act? It is about the work of the bowl and Dharma robes, caring for the sick, requesting repentance, and those who वापस लौट (梵文天城体:वापस लौट,梵文罗马拟音:vāpasa lauṭa,汉语字面意思:return) from sinful views. One should strive very hard to say, "Alas, should I do it or have others do it?" Here, requesting repentance means that if someone has done something that violates the precepts, such as committing a crime, they should be made to rely on antidotes such as repentance. Becoming a sinful view refers to views such as thinking that the Dharmas that the Bhagavan said would obstruct will not become obstructions. Is the abbot's work limited to this? If the Sangha wants to sanction with punishment, one should say, "Alas, how should the Sangha not punish this person with punishment?" That is, if the Khenpo or abbot wants to sanction with punishments such as expulsion, I will prevent the implementation of the punishment in any way. If one has already been punished, what should be done? If one has been punished, one should help him leave. That is, if he has been punished, one should help him leave as soon as possible. Does the abbot have other work? If one wants to punish, fundamental punishment, joy, and fundamental joy, and expel, one should harm and separate. That is, if the Khenpo or abbot has made the mistake of concealing remaining sins, one should reveal and help him to be harmed and separated from the Sangha as soon as possible. After explaining the abbot's ritual in this way, in order to explain the behavior of the residence, even he, except for asking questions, these should be done for him. That is, the residence should also not request, but should reveal and help with the work of the bowl and Dharma robes, etc., as mentioned above. If the abbot should not do things without the abbot's permission, then how long after receiving the Bhikshu vows should one be able to be an abbot? After receiving the Bhikshu vows, one should not live with the Khenpo and residence, nor should one live anywhere without being ten years old. So, can all those who are ten years old do these three things? No, because he does not possess the five conditions that should not be possessed. That is, even if he is ten years old, if he belongs to one of the five conditions that should not be possessed.
