The so-called "transformation" means that if one arrives there and receives it, the act of appropriating it is completed. Prior to that, the so-called "half" means that if one has not completely arrived there, but stays in one place, and then appropriates it, then one commits half of a downfall, which is a minor offense. If one only abandons what one has acquired from others, is that permissible? The answer is that even one's own possessions are not permissible without permission. This means that even a small amount of possessions left behind when one renounced the world, if one touches and uses them without having them blessed, one should abandon them. So, how does one commit a downfall? The answer is, by touching or causing others to touch. This means that if one touches precious jewels oneself, or causes others to touch them, one commits an offense. How does touching cause an offense? The answer is, in any way, such as "take this," "take that," "take these," etc., in whatever way one causes others to touch, one commits an offense. The so-called "goods causing a minor offense to copper" refers to the fact that touching copper that has been marked and used for sale causes a minor offense. The so-called "no offense to others" refers to the fact that touching other copper that has not been marked, etc., does not cause an offense. The so-called "raw meat, yogurt, dyes, roofs, and iron are also" refers to the fact that touching these does not cause an offense. The so-called "novice monks are also" refers to the fact that allowing novice monk fathers and novice monk mothers to hold and touch does not cause an offense. The previously mentioned "even one's own possessions are not permissible without permission," so what is permission like? The answer is that considering it to be the donor's property, accepting the trustee's property, and blessing are permissible. This means that in the above three ways, performing the above-mentioned actions constitutes the ritual of permission. Among them, considering whoever entrusts it to be the owner is considering it to be the donor's property. Entrusting items that cannot be used for life to lay practitioners or servants, and using their items, is accepting the trustee's property. Placing unusable wealth in the middle and saying, "May the venerable ones listen, I, a monk named so-and-so, transform this unusable item into a usable item, seek it out, and appropriate it," reciting this two or three times to bless it is blessing. Therefore, after permission, touching or causing others to touch is without offense.

Even if it is allowed, if the possession is not relinquished, then the allowance itself shows the fault more clearly than the antidote of the possessor. How does that meaning of the ritual of allowance arise? It means that it does not arise from anything other than the meaning of the Dharma. If it is not for offering to the Buddha, etc., nor for one's own bowl and other utensils, because there are other needs, even if the ritual of allowance is done, it will not become done. Even if it takes a long time, the owner will not disappear, meaning that one thinks of oneself as the owner, and even if one has already lived in a long tent, it shows that it is not necessary to bless it as the owner. It is permissible to prepare food for oneself, meaning that preparing food for oneself and preparing five kinds of food shows that it is not a fault such as gluttony. From this point onwards, it is called "Khampa," and it should also be known that everything else arises from trivial matters, except for what arises from the distinction of "from reduction to increase, up to and including jewels." In order to make him do it, he takes the Karshapana and shows that he is deaf. That also must be allowed. Increase up to and including jewels, meaning that for increased goods, one should know up to and including jewels, and even if one carries them, there is no fault. Holding a fire mirror for fire means that for my Dharma, the fire mirror can also be sold. This should be placed in a secluded place, meaning that the fire mirror should be well hidden. Do not show it to the un-giver, meaning that one should not let the thief see this. Take out the fruit of this and give it away, do not show the fire mirror to the thief, but take out the fire and give it. For water, there is water crystal, meaning that for drawing water, water crystal can also be sold. The ritual of protection is the same, meaning that the ritual of using water crystal should also be done as above. Among the giving of utensils, it does not include possessing jewels, meaning that giving rulers and needles, knives, etc., shows that one should not make them from jewels. Do not possess bowls of copper, brass, kharwa, and wood, meaning that one should not make them from these bowls. If these or others are possessed, they should be used as medicine containers, meaning that if they are made of any of the jewels mentioned above, or made of others, they should be used as medicine containers.
