The meaning of "it is also like that" is that these should not be placed elsewhere unless they are each offered as items. This is about the prohibition of menstruation. About the prohibition of menstruation. By the way, the teaching on the prohibition of washing is: "The pregnant should live in a secluded place," etc., meaning that if a bhikkhuni is pregnant, she should live in a secluded place. Here, "bhikkhunis should not abandon" means that pregnant bhikkhunis should not be allowed to wander around, and other bhikkhunis should take care of her. Here, "give food" means that other bhikkhunis should provide food for the pregnant bhikkhuni. This and the precepts to be discussed below, because they relate to relatives and non-relatives, will lead to violations or non-violations, so let's briefly explain the definition of relatives: Relatives refer to the bloodline of both parents, counting from each side of the bloodline, within seven generations. It means that the bloodline of both parents, counting from each side of the bloodline, within seven generations are close relatives in a husband-wife relationship, and the relationship from oneself to seven generations of descendants is considered relatives. If you ask, "How does it become a prohibition of washing?" The answer is, "Focus on intention," meaning that for all combinations and roots, intention should be emphasized. In order to easily understand this sutra, it says here, "This is the middle," meaning to understand up to the point of emphasizing intention. If you ask, "What is the object of emphasizing intention?" The answer is, "Not bhikkhunis and upasikas," meaning that if one thinks it is a bhikkhuni, or thinks it is not a relative, one will violate the precept. Because this is not just simple, it says, "The following is also like that," meaning that for the prohibition of acceptance to be discussed below, these two intentions mentioned above should also be emphasized. If you ask, "What actions will lead to the prohibition of washing?" The answer is, "Anything that has been blessed, one's old items that should be discarded, robes, cushions, etc., whether entrusted to wash, cook, or pound, is the same," meaning any of the three blessed items, as well as cushions, etc., whether entrusted to wash, or entrusted to cook, or entrusted to pound, will violate the precept. "Doing a part is also considered doing it," meaning that even if only a part or some corners are washed, it is the same as washing the whole thing. Even soaking it in water once is the same. Doing it means letting others do it.

This is not just entrusting, but if a Bhikshuni does work such as washing, it is included in what was initially allowed to be done. "Until it is finished, it counts as one" means that washing once is not counted as one offense, but until it is finished, it is counted as only one offense. Even if there is only one type of work, it is so. To dispel the doubt that "if the types of work are different, the offenses will also be different," it is said, "Even if there are stages, the result is the same," meaning that even if the stages of washing, cooking, and grinding are different, the result is only one Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. "Recognition is the most important, but if it matches the actual situation, it is the root" means that recognition is the most important, and if there is no mistake, it is the initial root. "If it does not match the actual situation, it is close to the root" means that if one does not recognize it as it actually is, it is close to the root, meaning that it will become a Dukkhata offense. For example, if one knows that there are living beings in the water, it is a Pacittiya offense, and if there are no living beings but one thinks there are, it will become a Dukkhata offense, just like that. "A doubter is like knowing the truth" means that if one is not sure whether it is a relative or a Bhikshuni, and if one confuses them just because they are relatives, it is the same as knowing the truth. In this case, what arises from the distinction is shown incidentally: "Protect it as if doing the work of the Sangha," meaning to strictly protect the internal rules of the Sangha. "Even those who come later are not excluded here" means that even those who come from outside cannot fail to observe the original internal rules. "To know whether this exists or not and the actual situation, ask him" means that those who come from outside should investigate what rules there are inside and what they are like. When should one ask? "Do not delay for too long," meaning that one should ask as soon as one receives the container and so on. The explanation of "protecting the internal rules of the Sangha" mentioned above is: "What the Buddha said, the Sangha cannot violate," meaning that if one protects what the Bhagavan has allowed or not allowed, one should not regard this as the internal rules of the Sangha. If one gives away leftover items such as bowls, clothes, similar items, bowls, and belts, one should accept them as the property of the Sangha, meaning these items that are mentioned.
