The meaning of "do not support tilting" is like a tree: if you cut off the head and tail to lift it, do not empty and help on the side where the strength is weak. The meaning of "do not bow your head" is like fighting each other, do not make gestures. The meaning of "do not let someone teach without learning" is that if you are not proficient in treatments such as bloodletting, do not let the other person learn. The meaning of "do not let someone throw weapons" is that even if it is just for watching bows and arrows, etc., do not say "throw" to others. The meaning of "do not lead a sick person on the road if they cannot walk" is that if a sick person cannot walk, do not take them. The defeat of killing is particularly certain. The defeat of killing ends here. After explaining the defeat of killing in this way, in order to explain that the defeat of lying is also the same, it is said, "Concealing the perception of possessing superhuman (blā ma) qualities and speaking." That is, having spoken of possessing superhuman qualities, also concealing the knowledge, and also saying that oneself is, one will be defeated. If asked, what is it like to speak of possessing superhuman qualities? (Answer) "Did you see it? I saw it. Did you hear the sound? I heard the sound. Go directly? I come directly. Speak together. Speak completely. Speak with satisfaction. Always associate together, saying 'I and I are together,'" that is, if one plays and associates together like this, saying such things, it becomes speaking of a superhuman. Is "Did you see it?" etc., becoming trivial or changing from what object? If asked, what is the difference in the object itself? (Answer) It is the object of gods, nāgas, yakshas, gandharvas, non-humans, etc., and the ghosts of decaying bodies, etc. Also, the ghost in the rag will become large. Seeing gods, etc., is also because one possesses superhuman qualities, so if one says that one sees those, it is because one falsely speaks of possessing superhuman qualities, so one will be defeated. Even if it is only as small as dust, one may be able to see even without possessing superhuman qualities, so if one falsely says that one sees those, it will show those that become large. What is the superhuman quality? It is the perception of impermanence, etc., meditation and immeasurable qualities, as well as formlessness, as well as fruit, and as well as supernormal knowledge.

Etc. are the laws of superiors, which means that the ten perceptions such as impermanence, the ten perceptions such as impurity, the four meditations, the four immeasurables, the four formless realms such as infinite space, the four śrāmaṇa fruits such as entering the stream, the six superknowledges such as remembering previous abodes, and all other virtues with and without outflows are the laws of superiors. By grasping one's own characteristics, the signs of afflictions and karma, as well as quiescence and insight, become gross. This means that any object of focus, such as the body or form, by grasping its own characteristics, increases afflictions such as desire, and the sign or cause of quiescence and insight of contemplation, if one says "It comes to me," it becomes gross. There are two types of quiescence and insight: suchness-attention and aspiration-attention. Among them, suchness-attention is the perception of impermanence, etc., and aspiration-attention is the immeasurable, etc. These two are also the nature of cultivation, and are included by not being confused. Its sign is the hearing and thinking wisdom practiced in the desire realm. It also has two types: associated with afflictions and not associated. Here, it refers to being associated with afflictions but not complete with the impure, etc. If one speaks of the dharma associated with this, it does not mean that it is not associated with this, which means that in a quiet place like this, non-humans do not harm those who have entered the stream, etc., but harm everything else. If one says, "I also live here, but I am not valued," or in a patron's house like this, the cushions of those who have entered the stream, etc., are made of grass, if one says, "I also live here," like this, speaking of the dharma associated with this does not mean that it is not associated with the dharma of superiors. Thinking that one has these, and drawing from other sources and displaying them, means that in reality, in order to prove oneself to be, one draws from other sources. If one says among the monastic community, "The gods are high" or "There are gods among the gods and nāgas," it becomes gross. If one draws out the source, it is not, which means that it is the source of speaking the language of superiors.
