If it is known to be forcibly taken, it will also become a root downfall. If it is not permissible to take by force, then what should be done? "This is to demand by preaching the Dharma" refers to the body and so on, that is, deceiving and preaching the Dharma, secretly demanding. "Even half the value is acceptable" means even half the value is again deceiving and demanding. The alms bowl and Dharma robes are the kinds that monks redeem, that is, deceiving and preaching the Dharma and not giving, because the labor of making and sewing these things is not small, and good quality is needed, so even monks deceive and demand. "Becoming lost without hiring" means not being recognized by the public, not being respected, like the Six Groups of Bhikshus taking the pig's head's ears, it is inevitable that these people steal and take away, like becoming a bad transaction, becoming lost when not seen by the public, do not take it dryly. "The hope of non-humans is the owner, in order to eliminate the idea that it is not, the corpse of non-humans is not without an owner", that is, the corpse of a ghost-possessed person, the ghost has the right to dominate, so it is not without an owner. If you take such a thing, how should you send it back to the tomb again? "Follow behind like someone who has not been killed" and so on, because it may be teasing, so do this ritual. "Lying face down, shaking from the feet upwards" means that after going to the tomb, put the thing back, and in order to prevent its harm, do this ritual. That ghost also enters the uninjured corpse, so it is said not to take from the unspoken corpse, that is, do not take from the uninjured corpse. Therefore, what if you are immediately possessed by a ghost? "I have not possessed, nor have I caused possession" means that I have not possessed, nor have I caused others to possess. In order to eliminate the doubt that it cannot be used without giving toothpicks, etc. "Rest itself, toothpicks, water, toilets, heavy objects, and land are used as convenient", that is, the Bhikshu lives there and builds a house, those things are called by name, these can be used as convenient. What if monks, etc., are robbed by relatives? Bhikshu or Shramanera...

If it is taken away due to distrust, it is said that it will not be given. If a Bhikshuni does not trust going forth for the sake of a Bhikshuni alone, it is like robbing a relative's path. Taking what is not given belongs to minor offenses. Showing what arises from asking: For example, four Kakani equal one Masha. If going, twenty Bu equal one Kakani. Four Kakani are counted as one Masha. If Masha is like that, then why is it said that five are defeated? Five are like a quarter of a Karshapana. Saying five Masha is just a basis for discussion. In reality, it is taking one-fourth of a Karshapana. Taking one-fourth of a Karshapana also depends on the difference of place and time, sometimes twelve Masha are worth one Karshapana, sometimes sixteen are worth one, sometimes thirty-two are worth one, sometimes forty are worth one, etc. If a value is not determined, then taking one-fourth of a Karshapana, Masha becomes more, depending on which place and time is it exemplified like that? This depends on the value of twenty. For example, when a wealthy Bhikshu stole wood from Rajagriha, twenty Masha could get one Karshapana, so taking one-fourth of it, Masha becomes more, it just depends on that. If the difference of time and place causes Karshapana to be particularly different, what should be done? This should be calculated and determined at the time and place of stealing. In which place and time, when twelve Masha can get one Karshapana, three Masha are also considered defeated. In which place and time, when forty Masha can get one Karshapana, ten Masha are considered defeated, etc., whenever stealing, it should be calculated and determined according to the value of that time and place. The appearance of Masha and other values being defeated is to eliminate the doubts of some people who think that some treasures are of immeasurable value and will not be defeated even if stolen. If the value cannot be measured, then that is the best. Five Masha are also defeated, let alone treasures? This is only included in the range of more than five Masha. Stealing something very small and worthless
