对于那里的工作要谨慎行事。所谓的“美丽的掩饰”是指在那里工作的人不要掩盖丑陋,要使其美丽。所谓的“具有羞耻感”是指对于那里的工作,要谨慎小心,不要愚蠢和担心羞耻。所谓的“具有权威”是指对于寺院的工作,要使其具有权威性。所谓的“有主人”是指每个寺院都要像有主人一样。所谓的“低下的心”是指不要有傲慢和骄傲的心,要做那里的工作。所谓的“不中断自己的工作,要有觉知”是指不要妨碍自己的阅读和思考,要做那里的工作。所谓的“寻求如何行善”是指对于那里的工作,不要只是做表面功夫,而要想方设法行善或积累功德等等,要有寻求行善的意识去做。所谓的“如果降低了经文,就要阻止”是指如果那个地方是戒律和见解的经文,如果降低了,就要阻止它。所谓的“如果不增长善业,就要请求他人去做”是指如果住在那个地方,就应该努力去做有意义的事情,如果不能增长善业,就要请求其他比丘去做增长善业的事情。所谓的“如果知道适合居住,就劝诫”是指如果居住的比丘向其他比丘请求劝诫,而那个比丘具有戒律并且适合居住,就应该劝诫他。此外,寺院纠正居住者,例如“从罪恶的朋友中阻止”等等。所谓的“引导向善”是指引导向善行。所谓的“鼓励他”是指自己教法等等,要鼓励居住者行善。所谓的“从堕落中解救出来,并准备好符合生活的必需品”是指寺院应该为居住者准备和给予这些东西。所谓的“与此相符”是指不要准备赌具和武器,而是要准备符合其需要的法衣和钵等等。所谓的“一起居住的人、侍者、堪布、阿阇黎、同一个堪布、同一个阿阇黎、精通三藏者、熟悉的人和同意的人都要照顾病人”是指这些人都要这样做。其中,

The so-called "if the scriptures are lowered, then stop it" means that if that place is the scriptures of discipline and views, if it is lowered, then stop it. The so-called "if good deeds do not increase, then ask others to do it" means that if you live in that place, you should try to do meaningful things, and if you cannot increase good deeds, you should ask other monks to do things that increase good deeds. The so-called "if you know that it is suitable to live, then advise" means that if the residing monk asks other monks for advice, and that monk has discipline and is suitable to live, then he should be advised. In addition, the monastery corrects the residents, such as "preventing from evil friends" and so on. The so-called "guide to goodness" means to guide to good deeds. The so-called "encourage him" means to encourage the residents to do good deeds by teaching the Dharma, etc. The so-called "rescue from falling and prepare the necessities of life" means that the monastery should prepare and give these things to the residents. "If there is no one there, instruct those who are proficient in caring for the patient" means that if there is no one specifically caring for the patient, then from one or two to ten, until they are proficient, take turns caring for the patient. "The Sangha's medicine, the patient can use it at will" means that the patient alone has the right to use the Sangha's medicine. "If there is none, let the caregiver search" means that if the patient himself or the Sangha does not have medicine, let the caregiver have the patrons and believers make offerings. "If it doesn't work, let the Sangha give" means that if it doesn't work as above, let the Sangha provide medicine and materials. "If there is none, even the property belonging to the Buddha's image can be used" means that if medicine or materials are not found, even the Buddha's property or the decorations of the Buddha's image can be used to exchange for medicine and materials. "Therefore, for the Sangha's activities, umbrellas, measuring instruments, statues, and drinks, etc. should be offered" means that for the patient's merit, the Sangha's drinks, umbrellas, measuring instruments, statues, etc. should be offered from the Sangha's property.
