So-called "chief," if repair is not possible, illuminate it with lamplight and use it as an offering to the Three Jewels and for the benefactor. If that is also not possible, then the method is to mix it with clay and apply it to the walls, pillars, and door seams of the temple. It is said, "Take it away." The remainder is collected by the Sangha, meaning if someone hides something while sleeping, do it like these methods such as slapping hard. So-called "take it away," is to take away the offerings of bedding separately, and let those who took them separately do it. So-called "remainder," is that those things that have not been distributed and belong to the public, are collected by the Sangha together, and do the work of kneading, patching, etc. If you see the Sangha stealing, you must not fail to stop it if you have the ability. When handing it over, do not let the Sangha's hand fall empty, and use it by taking it away until it returns to its original place. If it cannot be returned to its original place, it should be used in another place, which means preventing the Sangha's property from being taken away by thieves, when handing it over, do not lose the Sangha's property, take it away without losing it, and taking it away has the right to use it until it returns, if it is not possible or inconvenient, or cannot be returned to its original place, take it to another place, do not change the original appearance, and use it as it is. Food and utensils from other places should not be used in other places. This should not be used in other places either. If you take it away, you must return it to its original place. If you do not give it, give it to whoever gives it, which means that the food and utensils of one monastery should not be used in other monasteries, nor should they be given to others, if you take it away, you must return it, and if you do not give it, give it to the giver. The Sangha's share has the right to use it, and the plants and trees are not returned, even if they are used, it is like one's own things without guilt, one also belongs to the Sangha's disease, if one has a share, even if one uses a little of the remaining plants and trees, it is acceptable. Using public property without distribution has no order. Begging together is like that. This cannot be interrupted while it is being used.
