因为经中说“没有加持”，所以，羊毛和棉布要对剪毛进行加持。如果接触到不干净的床垫就立刻清洗，意思是如果出现这种情况，不要拖延，立刻清洗，无论是僧团的还是个人的。僧团的矮床和不是坏的床，在坐卧期间，没有其他的垫子不可以，没有灰尘的覆盖也不可以，意思是如果不是非常坏的床垫，没有个人的垫子坐也不可以，那么，躺卧就更不用说了，没有自己的除尘覆盖物，作为卧具也不要使用。图样几乎没有损坏的，不是全部，意思是有图样的床垫，图样大部分是做吗？没有损坏吗？无论是个人还是僧团的，没有垫子都不要使用。有污垢和有气味的也不可以，意思是垫子有污垢或者有气味的也不要使用。持有垫子，厚的话单层可以，薄的话双层，花哨的则不行，这里要做边缘，臀部的三分之一，单独的不加持，意思是垫子的方式要像这样，臀部侧面的三分之一横向延伸，没有缝合则不能加持。如果生疮，要持有遮盖物，那个五六天就清洗，意思是如果有疮或者癣，要持有遮盖物，这个时间就清洗。丝棉和棉花，苎麻和夏布可以，意思是这些材料做成的，可以加持，可以作为剩余的衣服。没有缝合的和粗糙的则不行，意思是北方的声音不好听吗？像天衣一样没有纹路的，粗糙的布料，不能作为比丘的衣服。用头发做的，裸体的，猫头鹰翅膀的誓言不能接受，这里是粗大的意思，意思是不能立外道的标志的誓言，这三个是明确指出的，这三个如果之前立过誓言要解除，持有则不行，会变得粗大。其他也要像这样去做。
