不是已经用旧了的。坚固的意思不是坏的或者软的。集合的意思不是把各种各样的种类收集起来的。缝补的意思是没有打补丁的。橛子的意思不是像做橛子那样。收缩的意思不是在破裂的地方缝线的。环绕的意思不是末端散开用线缝合的。舍弃的意思是发生了舍弃的堕落后，不是应该舍弃的衣服。不合适的，不是把草垫等没有作为比丘的衣服。送来，不是在扫帚或者掸子上。第五个的意思是五肘。剩余的意思是超过五肘。以前没有铺的意思是以前也没有作为铺垫。铺好，是指在铺垫上，首先祈请等等要做。很多也行，是为了施主增长福德，以及比丘会得到利益，所以对很多人也铺设。铺设得到，是指来多少铺设的碎布，铺设者也相应地分到多少。因为其他法衣要加持，所以取出加持。意思是说因为我们要加持我们法衣以外的铺垫，所以请取出我们的咒语。没有过夜就供养僧众，是指得到铺垫后，马上在没有过夜之前，供养给僧众。在界限内回向，是指得到的铺垫，要做成铺垫，要在界限内做。铺设者也行，是指委任比丘作为铺设者，也要在界限内委任。委任铺设者是怎样的呢？是说选择合适的，也就是从没有犯戒等过失的人中选择。交给他，是指把委任为铺设者的人，把要做成铺垫的衣服交给他。通过祈请者，是指通过祈请的仪式交给他。用这个来洗涤和缝纫，以及首先开始主要的工作等等，做两三次，以及完成得到后自己缝两三针是指

The meaning of "patched" is without patches. The meaning of "peg" is not like making a peg. The meaning of "shrink" is not sewing the broken parts with thread. The meaning of "encircle" is not stitching the frayed ends with thread. The meaning of "abandoned" is that after a transgression of abandonment has occurred, it is not a garment that should be abandoned. "Unsuitable" means that it is not a mat or something that has not been designated as a monk's robe. "Sent and arrived" means it is not in a broom or duster. "Fifth" means five cubits. "Remaining" means more than five cubits. "Not previously laid out" means that it has not been used as a mat before. "Lay it out" means that on the mat, first make requests and so on. "Many are also fine" means that for the sake of increasing the merit of the patron and for the benefit of the monks, lay it out for many people as well. "Obtaining the laying out" means that however many scraps of fabric come for laying out, the one who lays them out should also receive that much. Because other Dharma garments need to be blessed, take them out and bless them. It means that because we need to bless the mats other than our Dharma garments, please take out our mantras. Offering to the Sangha without delay means that after obtaining the mat, offer it to the Sangha immediately without delay. Dedicate within the boundary means that the obtained mat, to be made into a mat, should be done within the boundary.
