If it is missing, what should be done? If it is missing, it means entrusting it to someone else as a lay attendant. Can the entrusted person arbitrarily make him my student? It means he cannot snatch him away. If the lay attendant definitely does not return it, what should be done? If he does not return it, it means it can be forcibly taken back and he should be given full ordination. That is to say, if the lay attendant completely refuses to return it, it should be forcibly taken back and he should be given full ordination. What does it mean to use the word "ཁྲིད་ (khrid, Sanskrit transliteration: khrid, literal meaning: guide)" earlier to make it easier to understand? It is like saying "ཀྲིད་བྲན་ (krid bran, Sanskrit transliteration: krid bran, literal meaning: guide slave)". Those who give full ordination will ask the person to be ordained, "Are you not a slave?" If (he is a slave), he cannot be allowed to renounce and receive full ordination. Such words do not need to be said much, but the word "ཁྲིད་ (khrid, Sanskrit transliteration: khrid, literal meaning: guide)" can be used to make an analogy. Are all things related to "ཀྲིད་ (krid, Sanskrit transliteration: krid, literal meaning: guide)" the same as before? It means you have to measure, no matter how much, to whom you belong. It's like saying, "Are you not a slave?" You have to measure, no matter how much, do you not need to belong to anyone? Those who give full ordination will also ask the person who wants to renounce. A person with the danger of lust cannot be allowed to renounce and receive full ordination. If one can measure after renouncing and receiving full ordination, such words, like "ཁྲིད་ (khrid, Sanskrit transliteration: khrid, literal meaning: guide)", use "who changed you" to show the analogy. If the parents do not agree, what should be done if one wants to renounce? It means that the parents of the person who wants to renounce should be supported, and even if they do not agree, they should be placed in the local area for seven days. Even if one lives far away, one cannot be allowed to renounce without the permission of the Sangha. That is to say, even if one lives far away, one cannot be allowed to renounce without the permission of all the Sangha. Even if... this sentence shows that even if one lives nearby, one cannot be allowed to renounce without the permission of the Sangha. One should be supported for seven days, so who provides the food for the placement? The food for the person who wants to renounce should be provided by the Sangha. Again, using "ཁྲིད་ (khrid, Sanskrit transliteration: khrid, literal meaning: guide)" to illustrate by analogy, it means: "ཁྲིད་ (khrid, Sanskrit transliteration: khrid, literal meaning: guide), have you received your parents' permission? Except for living far away." This is also a question, and if the parents do not agree, he cannot be allowed to renounce, nor can he be given full ordination, etc., which is the same as before. Except for living far away.

Finally, the question of whether parents have permitted going far away should be stated at the end of the inquiry. For those who come, one should ask, "Are you not ill?" or "Do you not have even a slight illness?" Either way, the abbot ordaining should ask. Is it also asked in this way at the time of full ordination? Those who confer full ordination should inquire in detail, that is, at the time of conferring full ordination, regarding diseases present in the human body, such as leprosy, eye diseases, and so on, all forms of illness should be inquired about in detail by those conferring full ordination. If someone is sick or has a disease, what should be done? A sick person should not be ordained or receive full ordination. Why are these not referred to as 'those with illness' in the four Vinaya texts? It is because one must read doubly, "Are you not ill?" and "Do you not have even a slight illness?" and because the types of illnesses, such as wounds, cannot be summarized by 'Krid'. Due to the reason of directly pointing out, and other Vinaya rules such as 'a sick person should not be ordained' are also mentioned. In order to explain what is summarized by 'Krid', whatever is distinguished by shaving the hair is called 'Krid', that is, if after shaving the hair one does not acknowledge abandoning the signs, then one should not be ordained or receive full ordination, which will be mentioned in the later Vinaya rules, up to that limit, one should summarize using the calculation method of 'Krid'. Furthermore, usages similar to 'Krid' are also the statements 'this has no arising dharma' and 'expel those with such signs'. These two Vinaya rules should also be used until one reaches the Vinaya rule distinguished by 'severance'. Among them, 'such' refers to the dharma of non-arising, and 'those with signs' refers to the signs of having shaved hair and beard, and wearing crimson monastic robes. So, what is the essence of such a thing? It is transformation. For those who come to be ordained, one should ask, "Are you not a transformation?" Those who confer full ordination should also ask in this way. If one is a transformation, then one should not be ordained or receive full ordination. It is said in the sutra, 'This has no arising dharma, and those with such signs should be expelled.'
