If there is water in containers such as bowls, it should be covered with a lid, indicating that it should be covered. The lid here is of three types, namely lids made of wood, stone, or clay, indicating that they should be made of these three materials. The base of the water vessel should be made of stone or wood, indicating that its base should also be made of stone or wood. Using leaves as containers without giving and receiving is without fault, indicating that if it is not a leaf for eating, but a leaf used as a container, there is no need for giving and receiving. Here it is said that there is no difference between fallen and unfelled leaves, indicating that whether the leaves are fallen or unfelled, there is no need for giving and receiving, they are the same. If there are no fallen leaves, use the originally unfelled ones, indicating that if there are no naturally fallen leaves, use the originally unfelled leaves. Place, abandon. Wanting to explain the downfall of eating without giving and receiving, that is, if the benefactor sincerely gives alms, but there is no one else to give, take it and eat it yourself, which means that if the benefactor puts food in the container of the monastic temple, or when the Blessed One and his entourage are invited by a benefactor, if the shop is burned down by fire, and no one can give from the warehouse, then it is like the Blessed One said, take it and eat it yourself. This indicates that if the benefactor sincerely gives alms, but there is no one to give, it is not a sin to take it and eat it yourself. Explaining the definition of giving and receiving, that is, in a conspicuous place, within the boundary, in a suitable position. Extend your hand, the body or something related to the body can receive, even a non-ordained person or a non-human can accept the giving. Giving and receiving with limbs or something related to the limbs, which means that doing so is considered giving and receiving. The so-called conspicuous is not from the left and right or behind, but directly from the front. The so-called within the boundary means that it is not separated by water, land, or ridges. The so-called in a suitable position means that it is not above or below, or not on a high platform above the ground, but on flat ground. The so-called body or something related to the body means receiving with the hand or with the bowl in the hand. The so-called able to receive, even a non-ordained person or a non-human can accept the giving, which means that if food or items can be received and given, then those above the giver can also receive.

English
O. Even if horses and elephants give with awareness, it should be accepted. The so-called "thinking of giving" does not mean discarding, but simply thinking that it is giving. The so-called "limbs and what is related to them" means giving by holding with hands or spoons, etc. The so-called "holding" does not mean taking from above, but holding from below. Showing it to the slanderer and placing it on the mandala is also acceptable, which means that in some places, if someone slanders or dislikes giving and receiving, it is indicated to place it on the mandala, and placing it like this is also considered giving and receiving, which is to illustrate this point. The begging bowl and its base are one, which means that if it is a tray for the begging bowl, etc., it is like coming into the begging bowl or coming onto the tray. The branch is a place where monkeys move, so it will not become real land, which means that if a monkey gives a fruit from a tree, because that is the place where the monkey moves, do not doubt that it is not real land. There is nothing wrong with holding and taking fruit with a bed, a small bed, a cushion, and a basin, which means that holding and taking fruit with these things mentioned by name also shows that giving and receiving can be done. Observe their location and do not speak, which means that when observing the fruit, do not understand through the location, but through the location of the fruit. The so-called "treat beggars equally and make them happy" means do not compete for winning or losing, but make beggars happy. After giving and receiving, the bhikshu can distribute, which means that after giving and receiving, the bhikshu himself can take it and distribute it. Make a lining for the clothes with grass and leaves, etc., and then distribute bottles of ghee, honey, and brown sugar, which means that when distributing these things, make a lining for the clothes with grass and leaves, etc. Distribute by distinguishing between superior, medium, and inferior, which means that when distributing items such as fruits, the good ones are all good, and the bad ones are all bad, divided into superior and medium, and then distribute in this order. Mangoes should also be distributed separately for the delicious ones, which means that mangoes should also be divided into different levels of deliciousness and then distributed separately. The Khenpo and Acharya must endure the blame of the beggars, which means that the distributor must endure these shares.
