如果比丘改变性别，成为比丘尼，那么接触女人身体，对比丘尼来说，是由于接触女人身体而产生的失败的粗罪，是犯粗罪者，而不是触犯僧残罪者。同样，如果比丘尼因为接触男人身体，开始造作，比丘尼改变性别，成为比丘，那么接触男人身体，对比丘来说，是由于接触男人身体而产生的僧残粗罪，是犯粗罪者，而不是触犯失败罪者。同样，对比丘施暴，开始造作，比丘改变性别，对比丘尼施暴，那么比丘尼的身体会造成堕落，对比丘尼来说，是犯了恶作罪等等。所谓“从他而生，不是自己的行境”，意思是，人从畜生道或者非人道而生，或者非人从人道或者畜生道而生，或者畜生从人道或者非人道而生，那么自己属于哪一道，就不是自己的行境，而是自己的行境。例如，非人从女人的子宫里出生，如果偷盗了属于人的范畴的财物，并且认识到那是人的财物，那么就是偷盗了人的财物，因此只会犯失败罪。同样，非人从女人的子宫里出生，杀害了子宫里的、具有人的本质的生命，那么就是杀害了人，因此只会犯失败罪。同样，人从女人的子宫里出生，杀害了子宫里的、具有非人本质的生命，那么就是杀害了非人，因此会犯粗罪。同样，无论从哪个生处出生的畜生，如果杀害了具有畜生本质的生命，那么就是杀害了畜生，因此会犯堕罪。像这样，人等是从畜生等中出生的，但是，自己出生在哪一道，就是哪一道的安乐。

If a monk changes gender and becomes a nun, then touching a woman's body, for the nun, is the defeatable gross offense arising from touching a woman's body, and is the perpetrator of the gross offense, not the perpetrator of the remaining Sangha offense of touching. Similarly, if a nun, because of touching a man's body, begins to act, and the nun changes gender and becomes a monk, then touching a man's body, for the monk, is the remaining gross offense arising from touching a man's body, and is the perpetrator of the gross offense, not the perpetrator of the defeatable offense of touching. Similarly, if one starts to act to strike a monk, and the monk changes gender and strikes a nun, then the nun's body will cause a downfall, and for the nun, it is the perpetrator of a misdeed, and so on. The so-called "born from another, not one's own realm" means that a human being is born from the realm of animals or non-humans, or a non-human is born from the realm of humans or animals, or an animal is born from the realm of humans or non-humans, then whichever realm one belongs to, it is not one's own realm, but one's own realm. For example, if a non-human is born from a woman's womb, and if one steals property belonging to the category of humans, and recognizes that it is human property, then it is stealing human property, and therefore will only commit a defeatable offense. Similarly, if a non-human is born from a woman's womb, and kills a life in the womb that has the essence of a human, then it is killing a human, and therefore will only commit a defeatable offense. Similarly, if a human is born from a woman's womb, and kills a life in the womb that has the essence of a non-human, then it is killing a non-human, and therefore will commit a gross offense. Similarly, if an animal is born from any birth place, and one kills a life that has the essence of an animal, then it is killing an animal, and therefore will commit a downfall offense. In this way, humans and so on are born from animals and so on, but nevertheless, whichever realm one is born into, that is the happiness of that realm.
