If the price of that item is higher than the previously determined price, then that item is not allowed to be purchased, nor is it allowed to distribute the increased price to others. Similarly, if it is determined that no one else will increase the price of what he has raised, then it should be distributed to him. Similarly, before he raises the price, if it is determined that no one else will raise the price, then it should be distributed to him. Similarly, if the price continues to increase, and in the end no one increases the price, then at this time, the person in charge of distributing the items should repeat it once at the beginning and end of all the Sangha, publicly announcing: So-and-so has increased the price of this item and purchased it, then strike the mallet and place that item in front of that person. From then on, others can no longer increase the price to purchase it. The so-called "those who do not buy should not raise the price" refers to those who do not want to buy that item, they are called non-buyers, and they should not raise the price at that time. The so-called "women should not raise the price" refers to Bhikkhunis should not raise the price in that way to buy things, the scripture refers to the end of the story of Anathapindika. The so-called "before payment, it should not be used or cleaned" refers to those who have purchased the Sangha's items, before paying the Sangha, they should not use items such as clothing, nor should they do cleaning work such as washing and changing. The word "again" is to indicate that other behaviors should also be prohibited. The so-called "if there are many people to be allocated, it should be allocated in groups of ten, etc." means that if there are many people to be allocated, that is, those who have the right to receive the distribution of benefits, then it should be allocated in groups of ten, etc., for example, dividing the share of ten people into one group, or dividing the share of twenty people into one group, or dividing the share of thirty people into one group, and so on, similarly, dividing the share of one hundred people into one group, or dividing the share of two hundred people into one group, or dividing the share of three hundred people into one group, and so on. The so-called "if the share is not allocated, and someone in the group dies, then his share is owned by that group"

所谓的“一千件衣服”,是指价值一千个kārṣāpaṇa(梵文,karṣāpaṇa,一种古代印度货币单位,汉语字面意思:喀尔沙巴拿)的衣服。

Furthermore, if a Saṃgha obtains property and it is not divided into separate categories, then some individuals within that Saṃgha, especially those who belong to that Saṃgha, commonly own those properties. After division, those Saṃghas who belong to their share, that is, those renunciates whose conduct is similar to Brahma, should be blessed with the belongings of the deceased. If a renunciate observes the precepts with the intention of Nirvana, then it is also appropriate to give him a thousand garments, a hundred kinds of food, and a five-hundred-story house. That is to say, if a virtuous person who has renounced with the intention of Nirvana is offered clothes, food, and lodging by any donor, including the gods, in any world, then it is appropriate for him to accept and enjoy them. The so-called "thousand garments" refers to garments worth a thousand kārṣāpaṇas (Sanskrit, karṣāpaṇa, an ancient Indian monetary unit, literal meaning in Chinese: Karshapana). The so-called "hundred kinds of food" refers to food with a hundred flavors. The so-called "five-hundred-story house" refers to a residence that can accommodate five hundred people, or a house with five hundred spires like a Nepalese tower. If someone says, "This is also the property of the Saṃgha," then it should be connected with the word "appropriate," that is, it is also appropriate for a virtuous person who has renounced with the intention of Nirvana to accept and enjoy the property of the Saṃgha. If someone asks what kind of Saṃgha property is appropriate, then it should be answered, "For the property of the Saṃgha below the non-learner," that is, it is also appropriate to possess the property of the Arhat Saṃgha. If someone asks what kind of virtuous person is appropriate, then it should be answered, "It is also appropriate for ordinary people," that is, the word "also" indicates that it is not only appropriate for noble beings. If someone says, "It is not appropriate for those who break the precepts," then this means that a thousand garments, etc., and the property of the Saṃgha are not appropriate for those who break the precepts. If someone says, "For a lazy person, accepting and enjoying will become a debt," then this means that for a virtuous but lazy person, that is, someone who is not capable of practice, accepting (possessing) and enjoying will become a debt, which means in future lives.
