This is what was done from the beginning. In the actual time, because the previous bowl has been ruined, it is only a misdeed. If, even at the time of searching, the bowl has already been ruined, then at that time it will be a downfall of application or only a contemptible offense. The meaning of 'with one's own belongings' is that even if there is a bowl, if one searches for or buys another bowl with one's own belongings that have become valuable, then even now it should be known as a contemptible offense among downfalls, because it is not sought and obtained by begging. The meaning of 'even when those exist' is connected to 'one's own belongings'. Even if one's own belongings that have become the value of a bowl exist and are possessed, but there is no bowl, if one does not buy a bowl with one's own belongings, but begs for the bowl in this way, then it should also be known as a contemptible offense among downfalls, because at the time of begging, it becomes a subtle misdeed called application, and if obtained, it becomes only a misdeed called actual. This reasoning should also be understood for religious robes and so on. The meaning of 'exchanging with the desire for good' is that the desire for a good bowl is the desire for a good bowl, 'Ema, may a good and beautiful bowl become my bowl,' whatever desire enters into this way is the desire for good. If one who desires good cherishes the bowl for the sake of exchanging it and sends it out first, and then exchanges it, it should be known as a contemptible offense among downfalls. If one takes from an exchange, then is it not said that there is no downfall? It is true, but it is said in the case of exchanging without desiring good. Here, the establishment of downfalls is this: if one begs from a householder who is not a relative and obtains it, then it is the actual. If one does not beg, but seeks with prices and so on, whether a relative or not, if one obtains it from a householder or an ordained person, then it is a misdeed. Whatever is accomplished from searching for a bowl without an owner, that is also a misdeed. Whatever is accomplished after exchanging the previous bowl with the desire for good, that is also a misdeed. For all applications, it is also a misdeed. Just desiring good.

If a bowl is obtained by exchanging a bowl, then there is no transgression. If all the transgressions arising from seeking a bowl are established as limbs of the very desire for good, then for that very desire for good, the actual thing of obtaining an extra bowl from a non-relative householder should be abandoned. In the application, there is a misdeed. If any limb is incomplete, then in the actual thing there is a misdeed. In the application, there is a slight misdeed. If a limb is incomplete, then in the actual thing there is a slight misdeed. In the application, there is a very slight misdeed. If that bowl has passed ten days, then another abandonment will occur, and at the time of confession, both the transgression and the abandonment must be confessed. Now, in order to show the difference between this application of confession and other applications of abandoning confession, it is said, "This is to be abandoned to the Sangha," and then add, "This extra bowl." Other things to be abandoned, such as robes, should be abandoned to an individual. Like this, a bowl can only be obtained from the Sangha without any connection. It is not from an individual, therefore, this shows that it can only be abandoned to the Sangha. Is it that all bowls should be abandoned to the Sangha? No, therefore it is said, "If there are many, then choose one that is most desired."

Finished. All renunciations are summarized in this Dharma. If asked, what kind of bowl should be given to the Bhikshu who has committed a transgression, which has come from seeking leftover alms? Therefore, it is said that the worst bowl should be given to him. Among all the bowls of the Bhikshus, the worst bowl, the worst of all, should be given to that transgressor. Those that are discarded are not the only worst in the daily life. The so-called "worst" is the worst of all the bowls of the Sangha, and that should be given to the Bhikshu who has committed a transgression. By what method should that worst bowl be removed from the Sangha? Therefore, it is said that it should be removed by distribution. By distribution, that discarded bowl, that worst bowl, should be removed from the Sangha. What kind of executor should remove that worst bowl from the Sangha by distribution? Therefore, it is said that it should be done by an appointee. It should be done by a Bhikshu appointed through a request and two karmas. In order to show that the appointed Bhikshu is completely using himself when removing the bowl, therefore it is said that when he is going to do this tomorrow, he should hand it over to the Sangha at the time of the assembly. The appointed Bhikshu, when he is going to do this tomorrow, that is, the next day, he should, until evening, at the time of the Sangha or the assembly, that is, when the Bhikshus who have become the Sangha gather in one place for offerings and other things, hand it over to the Bhikshus. How should it be handed over? Therefore, it is said, "Venerable ones, tomorrow I will distribute the unrelated bowl, please each of you take your own bowl and enter the Sangha." The so-called "unrelated bowl" should be known as the name of the worst bowl obtained from the Sangha. That is, the so-called "Unahana" means "unrelated." Like this, "Ha" is "Hanabanda," which means "related," and this comes from the origin of language. The so-called "U,"
