If the time is right and permissible for the noble bhikshuni sangha, please let the noble bhikshuni sangha allow it. The noble bhikshuni sangha granted the precepts to the army leader Simha. This is the request. To whom the sangha gives the precepts, the bhikshuni should go to his house. Cushions should be enjoyed. The Dharma should be taught. Alms should not be taken. One should not enter with an empty bowl. For those begging children, one should not give whole food, but should cut it into pieces and give it. Radishes and other fruits and roots, and vegetables such as vegetable gardens, if they come from home, may be accepted. This is the ritual and activity of giving the precepts of the householder in the precepts. From that time on, it is said that if the benefactor becomes wealthy, the precepts of the householder should be abolished, and it should be done as follows: After arranging the dwelling, strike the ghanta and admonish the bhikshunis with words of inquiry. When all the bhikshuni sangha is assembled and harmonious, the benefactor should prostrate, squat in the corner of the elders, join his palms, and say these words: Please listen to me, noble sangha. I, the army leader Simha, am endowed with faith, good and with good intentions. I have nothing that I have not offered or given to the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, or to the satisfactory bhikshunis. Because I have offered and given in this way, wealth has decreased and been exhausted, and after being completely exhausted, the sangha wishes for benefit, wishes for help, and grants me the precepts. Now I, the army leader Simha, have increased wealth, and I, the army leader Simha, request that the precepts that have been granted be abolished. Compassionate noble bhikshuni sangha, for the sake of compassion, please grant me the abolition of the precepts. Repeat this twice and three times.
