It should be understood that it is thus established in the intermediate explanation. Another question: Venerable sir, what happens if a monk cuts off a portion from a heap of grain and steals the grain? Answer: The value should be calculated. If the object is complete with one action, then it becomes a root offense. If it is not complete, then it becomes a gross offense. Here, "if the object is complete with one action" means that each action is shown to be separate. It should be understood in this way. Therefore, the difference of this treatise is that if one wants to speak of stealing by making a hole, then only the leaking substance is stolen. If one wants to speak of stealing from a heap, then the actions arising from taking and not taking, and the root downfalls are different. If one looks at what comes from another treatise, why is collecting flowers and so on not one action? Answer: It is not so. Stealing from a heap is stealing from a pile, so the thought of collecting does not arise in this case. Therefore, because there is no thought of collecting in this case, like collecting flowers, the downfall is not established by one action. It should be understood in this way. Shaking and moving with a ball, etc. Striking means taking with a stick, etc. Here also, it is said that in that place, because it is the lower base, and with clothes, etc., whatever is the upper part of it, by the nature of going to that place, shaking and moving, it should be known that it is stealing. It is not just separating from the root place, because the thought of completion does not arise from just that. It should be understood in this way. Stealing by shaking and striking means that if one wants to speak of stealing by means of shaking or by means of striking, it should be known that shaking or striking itself is stealing, which is the concluding remark. Drawing water means drawing from one side of the water. The head of the water means the gathering of water. Holding means starting, which is the concluding remark of completely holding. Here also, it is said that whatever leaves and enters the water drawer, the stealing of fruits such as the accomplishment of Salu

It should be understood that this establishment of falling into the mind is solely due to the importance of bathing and drinking, etc., without regard to the mind. Stealing water for the purpose of accomplishing rice, etc., is in addition to the purpose of accomplishing one's own work. If one desires something else, one should know that others gathered there use water supply or prevention to accomplish all tasks. Precious things are gems, pearls, and so on. Mentioning precious things refers to swords and so on. Items used for warfare and musical instruments such as the pipa also extend life like precious things. Others say that it is for the sake of achieving happiness like a precious thing. Stealing after destroying means stealing after plundering. Therefore, depending on whether the value of the plundered property is complete or not, it should be considered whether the theft constitutes a major crime, etc. It is not in the midst of a struggle, because at that time one is only thinking of destruction, and mere destruction is only a major crime. It means that one enters with the intention of plundering something else. Letters are written characters. Sign language letters are letters that indicate "steal" and so on only by moving the hand. Manual calculation is because it indicates by touch from the types of fingers. Therefore, there is no blame for stealing in the form of letters, etc., because the intention to steal is the most important. Grasping one side of a large object, etc., refers to items that one wants to steal, such as a string of pearls, etc. If one side has not come off its original position, because it has not been moved from its original position, even if it has not been moved from its original position, there is no stealing and taking possession, so it does not constitute stealing. If all sides have come off their original position, it should be known that it is only then that the property has been stolen. An insider is someone who enters the house, meaning someone who goes in and out of the house regularly. Delivering a message in words means extracting from the name, the offense that constitutes a major crime is that requesting this is the action itself, please consider.
