Eight ankles, four on each of the two hands, and four on each of the two feet, are the eight excellent marks; two calves and two knees, and two thighs, these six fullnesses are the six excellent marks; the two wrists of the hands and the two forearms, and the two arms, these six fullnesses are the six excellent marks; the hip bone is one excellent mark; the waist is one excellent mark; the two testicles are two excellent marks; the groin is one excellent mark; the two scrotums are two excellent marks; the buttocks are one excellent mark; the anus is one excellent mark; the navel is one excellent mark; the two ribs and the two armpits, and the gathered breasts are six excellent marks; the chest is one excellent mark; the heart is one excellent mark; the neck is one excellent mark; the back is one excellent mark. "A little" means the nature of being unknowable. "Possessing understanding, devoid of spectacle" means abandoning the mind of spectacle. "Bad birth" means evil people, a derogatory term. "Meaningless" means not in accordance with meaning. "Certainly" means undoubtedly. "Immediate revenge" means initiating first because of being unable to bear the majesty. "Passed away" means went. "Beings" means aggregates born from maturation. "Birth" means intermediate existence, etc., born from virtue and afflictions, and born from proximate causes, causal causes, etc. "Future life" means the first existence.
