Furthermore, based on the distinction of hearing, the three "interpretations" (འགྲེས་, explanation, clarification, discrimination) are divided into otherness (དེ་བྱེན་), doubt (ཡིད་གཉིས་), discord (མི་མཐུན་པ་), discrimination (རྟོག་པ་), unattained (མ་རྙེད་པ་), and the distinction of attained, becoming three sixes eighteen kinds, this is the second of the eighteen kinds. Among those who have come suddenly and dwell and are in harmony, the original inhabitants are few, equal, and many. Based on the distinction of seeing those who have come, the three "interpretations" are divided into otherness, doubt, discord, discrimination, unattained, and the distinction of attained, becoming three sixes eighteen kinds, this is the third of the eighteen kinds. Among those who have come suddenly and dwell and are in harmony, the original inhabitants are few, equal, and many. Based on the distinction of hearing those who have come, the three "interpretations" are divided into otherness, doubt, discord, discrimination, unattained, and the distinction of attained, becoming three sixes eighteen kinds, this is the fourth of the eighteen kinds. Thus, here the "interpretations" eighteen kinds multiplied by four, become seventy-two kinds. "Should go" and so on, this explains that if the Pratimoksha Sutra is not recited, monks should not entrust the Uposatha of that place to others, nor should they accept that place, this shows the special exclusion of what was said. In order to show its distinction, it was said, "From the place with the monks" and so on. If asked, is this ritual spoken of all at once? Therefore, it was said, "Should not go" and so on. The so-called "quarreling" refers to quarreling with the characteristic of speaking harshly. The so-called "creating disputes," the "root" of disputes refers to the beginning of quarrels, and completely initiating disputes is "creating." Even if the Pratimoksha Sutra is not recited, just as the discipline of a monk, under the illumination of the autumn moon's rays, among the most pure and virtuous practitioners, can achieve the complete preservation of discipline; but among the mud-like evil practitioners harmed by the faults of monks quarreling, even if the Pratimoksha Sutra is recited, the complete purification of discipline cannot be achieved, therefore, prohibition was made, and the same should be understood appropriately for the following situations as well.

As for "where to go" and so on, it is said that experiencing happiness with body and mind means generating great diligence. Because body and mind are extremely subdued, the mind is completely peaceful, and one is free from the noise of evil people, the most important thing is to completely protect the precepts, therefore this is allowed. The following words should also be understood accordingly. The so-called "harm" refers to the obstacles to the monastic discipline of a monk. Staying in a place without monks, if one stays in a place with a master monk, harm characterized by obstacles to the monk's discipline and life will occur, which is not allowed. The so-called "all the Sangha go there" means becoming possessed of monks, therefore this is allowed. The following should also be understood in the same way. The so-called "all activities" refers to one hundred and one activities. The so-called "existence" means doing. The so-called "some activities" refers to requests and so on. The so-called "place of sudden appearance" refers to the commonality of all strange things, and is a synonym for the word "if you sit down." There are twelve explanations for this. From a place with monks to a place with monks, one should go to a place with discipline and views, this is the first explanation. From a place with monks to a place with monks, one should not go to a place with strife and so on, this is the second explanation. From a place with monks to a place with monks and a place that is not with monks, one should go to a place with discipline and views, this is the third explanation. From a place with monks to a place with monks and a place that is not with monks, one should not go to a place with strife and so on, this is the fourth explanation. From a place with monks and a place that is not with monks to a place with monks and a place that is not with monks, one should go to a place with discipline and views, this is the fifth explanation. From a place with monks and a place that is not with monks to a place with monks and a place that is not with monks, one should not go to a place with strife and so on, this is the sixth explanation.
