Unsubdued by one's own words, the sole hero in uprooting all others' speech, having attained the four distinct and correct knowledges, for the sake of dispelling the entirety of the obstructive, afflictive, and harmful mire caused by those rich in the immeasurable jewel-like rays of qualities, and for the sake of swiftly and correctly accomplishing the desired and excellent virtuous fruit conceived in the mind, I praise and prostrate to the Buddha Bhagavan, the sole hero in the three realms, the one who has reached the other shore of the ocean of qualities, first and foremost: The banner of fame resounds in the three realms. The sound of the sacred Dharma roars like a lion. Having attained the all-knowing one, the treasury of jewels. Brahma and Indra touch his feet with the jewel of their crowns. Having crossed the fathomless ocean of suffering, I bow with my head to the lord of beings. In the midst of the assembly of noble ones, the all-knowing one's discipline, the vessel of jewels, will be explained. Thus, this verse was spoken. Here, for now, I will explain the content, necessity, connection, and necessity of the necessity of these two verses, first and foremost. Because those who listen respectfully and have a mind that goes forward, if they are not willing to listen even to mere words that are without content, without necessity, without connection, and without the necessity of necessity, what need is there to mention praise, treatises, and detailed explanations? Because those who listen respectfully and have a mind that goes forward, upon hearing the names of praise and so on, will doubt what is to be expressed here. After that, they will doubt what meaning this shows. Therefore, they will doubt whether the nature of this word will accomplish the nature of that meaning, or whether it will not accomplish it. Therefore, they will become hesitant about the connection. Therefore, they will be confused about what kind of particularly excellent fruit will be truly accomplished by accomplishing that meaning, and thus they will have a general confusion about the necessity of the necessity. Therefore, the skilled explainer, who is devoted to benefiting others, with the mind of a wise person, will dispel all doubts about this.

Listeners should be convinced without a doubt. What is to be said is that in those two verses: The beautiful fame is known in the three realms, The sacred Dharma sound is proclaimed like a lion's roar, The all-knowing treasure of jewels has been attained, Brahma and Indra touch your feet with the jewels on their crowns. Crossing the endless ocean of suffering, I prostrate with my head to the protector of beings. These one and a half verses praise the qualities of the Bhagavan, fulfilling the benefit of others, fulfilling the benefit of oneself, it is a supreme praise. The necessity is to fully reveal their nature. The connection is that the full revelation of their nature is accomplished by the nature of the words of these one and a half verses, therefore these one and a half verses are the method, and the full revelation of their nature, which is the nature of meaning, arises from the method. Thus, these one and a half verses, and the necessity, are connected by the nature of method and what arises from method. In this way, these one and a half verses clearly reveal the qualities of the Bhagavan, fulfilling the benefit of others and fulfilling the benefit of oneself, therefore these one and a half verses are the method, and the necessity is what arises from the method. They are also connected by the nature of cause and effect, and by the nature of what proves and what is to be proven. One in a hundred might say, what is the use of fully revealing their nature? Like this, it is not needed at all, like examining a crow's teeth, your effort is in vain in a non-place, therefore fully revealing their nature is meaningless. If someone refutes in this way, then it is necessary to further explain the necessity of the necessity, which is that it will become a way of following the conduct of the noble ones, and obstacles and wrong views will be pacified. Like this, when the noble ones want to do anything, they first make offerings to their desired deity through praise and prostration. The virtuous result that those who enter in this way think of in their minds
