It is not appropriate to use the following items extensively: monastic residences, bedding and cushions, wipes, and toilets. One should also not enter the sangha. One should also not prostrate to stupas. One should also not teach the Dharma to assembled laypeople. One should also not go to the homes of laypeople. If one fully enjoys those things, one should abide according to the Dharma for seven days, making it stainless. One should also smear that direction with ashes, bathe, and wash all Dharma robes. The act of selling should be observed for three days. Ke'u should be observed for one day and one night. A sick person should put a sedhava into a horn, seal the mouth with two horns, and place it. Is there one thing that can become four kinds of medicine? Yes. For example, a sugar tree is suitable in season. Juice is suitable for a certain period. Sugar and the like are for seven days. Burnt items can be kept until the end of life. Similarly, other things should also be inferred. The four kinds of medicine that have not been blessed after being given or received, or that have been given and received but not blessed, cannot be eaten. Those that have been given and received and blessed can be eaten whether one is sick or not. There are two kinds of patients, one is congenital, and one is sudden. Therefore, one should keep the idea of being sick in mind, and everything can be eaten. One should not eat the fruits of trees, etc., that grow in unsuitable places. Even if they grow in suitable places, if they fall in unsuitable places, they cannot be eaten if they have been overnight. If they fall in suitable places, even if they have been overnight, they can be eaten if they are given. If one does not act according to the Dharma like all these, one should adjust according to the situation and recognize that this is a transgression of downfall. Due to the utensils, complete protection of them is also permitted. For example, a bag for urine and a naraze treated with medicine, a medicine bowl, a smoking pipe made of iron with a length of twelve fingers, a nasal dropper with two mouths, a bowl for holding food, a zama tog, a footstool, and a footrest. These made of precious materials should be abandoned and not held. An iron

Other utensils of the same kind should not be held. If one was previously a doctor, one can hold containers for pigments, etc.; if one was previously a writer, one can hold writing tools; if one is a craftsman, one can hold needles, but one should not easily show off one's craftsmanship.
