The distinctions of time, such as those of Kāśyapa and Gautama, and the distinctions of great and small, are just like time itself. Those called "people" are those who possess the power of cause and the power of condition. What possesses the power of cause? What possesses the power of condition? Those who generate the power of virtue and greatly increase it from internal proper attention possess the power of cause. Those who, from meeting virtuous friends, obtain the teaching of the Dharma possess the power of condition. Therefore, the Blessed One said, "For the sake of generating right view, there are two causes and conditions: internal proper attention and reliance on others." "Obtaining" means there are four kinds of obtaining: obtaining merit, obtaining great joy, obtaining samādhi, and obtaining purity. By obtaining merit, one obtains all the perfections of what is needed in the next world as desired. By obtaining great joy and samādhi, one obtains the perfection of dwelling happily in the visible Dharma. By obtaining purity, one obtains the perfection of the complete exhaustion of all suffering. "Those who are in the Dharma" means that the Dharma is of three kinds: the Dharma of result, the Dharma of practice, and the Dharma of teaching. Among these, the Dharma of the meaning of result is the Dharma of result, which is unborn, unbecome, unmade, unconditioned, unarisen, peaceful, and abiding, which is nirvāṇa. Among these, unborn means that it does not correspond to the nature of the aggregates of appropriation, the connection of linking continuity. Unbecome means that it does not correspond to the gradual increase in the nature of the complete entity of self, such as fetus, child, adult, middle age, and old age; become refers to aging. Unmade means that it does not correspond to the power of past actions and afflictions. Unconditioned means that it does not correspond to the manifest aggregation of present actions and afflictions. Unarisen refers to future births.

Because it does not possess youthfulness. Peace is because suffering and its causes are completely pacified. Abiding is because it does not degenerate from that. The Dharma of practice is the nature of the Dharma of practice, which refers to the Eightfold Noble Path, namely: Right View, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration. Through this practice, the disciples as taught can realize the fruit. Among them, Right View is the limb of complete cutting off, it grasps exactly what is experienced. Right Thought is the limb of making others understand, it keeps what is understood in mind and trains comprehensively in speech. Right Speech, Right Action, and Right Livelihood are the limbs of making others believe, if they understand in order, they will believe that the view etc. are completely pure. Among them, Right Speech, through asking questions that match understanding, clearly determines the words related to prophecy, thereby recognizing that the view is completely pure. Right Action is behavior, such as entering and exiting, thereby recognizing that the discipline of perfect behavior is completely pure. Right Livelihood is through obtaining robes etc. by Dharma as permitted, thereby recognizing that life is completely pure. Right Effort is the limb of completely purifying the obscurations of afflictions, it abandons all habits. Right Mindfulness is the limb of completely purifying the obscurations of near afflictions, because mindfulness abides very closely, and there is no confusion about the signs, so it does not create a situation of discouraging near afflictions. Right Concentration is the limb of completely counteracting the obstacles of special qualities, it manifests the qualities of clairvoyance etc., and ultimately also obtains Nirvana without remainder. When standing, if these limbs are feasible, then when entering the path, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood etc. will not arise.

, if there is not even a proper understanding of suchness, how can it become the eightfold path when entering the path? It is explained that by focusing on the Dharma that transcends the world, one obtains its nature, which is without outflows and non-discriminating. When one arises from what has been obtained, one does not engage in wrong speech, etc., but engages in right speech, etc. Therefore, by closely establishing cause and effect, it becomes the eightfold path. Otherwise, when entering the path, truly grasping suchness, as well as thoughts, speech, actions, and seeking Dharma robes, etc., would become contradictory. In this way, through the practice of Dharma, one can attain the fruit of Dharma as it has been shown. And the practice of Dharma also arises dependent on the Dharma of explanation. The Dharma of explanation includes the Sutra Pitaka, the Geya, the Vyakarana, the Gatha, the Udana, the Itivuttaka, the Jataka, the Adbhuta Dharma, the Nidana, the Avadana, the Upadesha, and the twelve branches of the scriptures. Among them, the Sutra Pitaka is the concise form of the teachings spoken by the Bhagavan. The Geya is the Sutra Pitaka itself, with verses in the middle and at the end. Alternatively, the direct meaning is the Sutra Pitaka, and the Geya is expressed in song for the sake of understanding. The Vyakarana is the prediction of the passing away and rebirth of noble beings in the past. Another explanation is that the Sutra Pitaka with definite meaning is the Vyakarana, because it predicts the future without concealment. The Gatha is the teaching spoken in verses. The Udana is what is spoken with joy, such as: When the Brahmin meditates, this Dharma of diligence will arise, all his doubts will be dispelled, and he will eliminate the defilements of craving for happiness and stinginess. The Itivuttaka is for the sake of a person.
