In terms of (fruit) positions, the second is the fruit of non-return. The third is the fruit of stream-entry. Therefore, two verses were spoken. "Brahmacharya not practiced" means not guarding the collection of paths, or being ordained but not practicing the path. "Wealth not acquired in youth" means not accumulating wealth such as cloth. In the initial age, one should be able to diligently endure all tasks. Therefore, being in youth means having the ability for everything. Therefore, one should strive for matters of entering and withdrawing. If one does not do this, one will become like the mind of an old person, saying that the mind is tormented by sorrow and displeasure, and one will experience the suffering of the mind. "Old heron" refers to a bird troubled by old age, like a heron. Because it is called "zhong zhong," "heron" is a definite word. Where does one think? It is said, "On the shore where fish are scarce," in the terrible lake where fish are scarce, in very small lakes and ponds, because it is dirtied by mud and water, and the water is about to dry up and be exhausted, so it is terrible. "Will fall asleep" means sitting foolishly as if asleep, because the limbs are broken and relaxed. "Body curled up" means using the word "root bent," where is the body curled up like drawing a bow, that is there. The word "indeed" means "also," not only is the mind comprehended, but the body is also curled up, bending the knees to the chest, gathering the limbs and sleeping. "Remembering what was done before" refers to previously playing and laughing, and beautiful appearances, etc., because they are separated from what is often experienced, so there is no hope for those. Small sins do not cause harm in childhood, for example, in a region of a tiny dust particle, one cannot generate the distinction of root consciousness. Therefore, to the question of "What is the use of practicing Brahmacharya?" Therefore, it is said, "Small sins done by oneself," etc. In Rajagriha

Some people commit minor misdeeds, thinking that doing just a little bit won't cause any harm. Others are capable of doing a little bit of good, but they don't, thinking that dust from a window crack can't be used to build a fence. Therefore, regarding these two situations, two verses were spoken. "Do not underestimate small evils" means do not disregard even the smallest of evils. Sin is doing bad deeds. It is essential to recognize the sixth point: even a little bit of sin burns like fire and kills like poison in food. Therefore, one should not think, "Even a little bit of sin is okay." Do not think, "There will be no consequences," meaning that if someone thinks that committing this small sin will have no consequences when I go to the next world and will not cause any torment, that is wrong. Why? Because this is an analogy of the constant accumulation of small things. To illustrate this point, the phrase "By falling drops of water" is spoken. For example, just as constantly dripping water can fill a large pot, a large pot is a very large container for water. "Sin fills the fool," meaning that by doing evil deeds, the fool constantly accumulates sins, just as a pot is filled with water. So, how can a fool be filled with sin in a short time? It is "little by little"; the fool accumulates little by little, and it gradually increases, like ants piling up a mountain. Virtue is doing good deeds, meaning the source of happiness. Steadfastness is wisdom. To explain the reason for abandoning sin, practicing virtue, and cutting off desire, it is said, "Just as water fills everything," and so on. Ananda said to the Blessed One, "Venerable Blessed One, please see, there is a Brahmin named Beratayana who wants to draw water from a well and pour it into the Ananda Garden." He saw the Blessed One leaving and thought
