(Omitted here) Do not contemplate. Therefore, you will not arise (with afflictions). From desires, sorrow arises, From desires, fear arises. If desires are completely abandoned, There is no sorrow and no fear. From joy, sorrow arises, From joy, fear arises. If joy is completely abandoned, There is no sorrow and no fear. The ripening of desire and joy is suffering, Sweet at first, but bitter in fruit. Like not letting go of a torch from the hand, It will eventually burn the child. Look at those who are completely attached to their sons and daughters, And jeweled earrings. The Noble One said, The fetters made of ironwood and rough materials, those are not strong. The Noble One said, The fetters of desire, even if loosened, are difficult to completely untangle. Steadfast ones do not look to the pleasure of desire, They quickly depart by destroying it. Whatever the variety of the world, it is not desire, Whatever the thoughts of men, it is desire. Even if the variety of the world remains the same, Steadfast ones will subdue their desire for it. People do not have eternal desires, Whatever one is attached to is impermanent. Therefore, completely abandon it from your heart, for there is no rebirth, And strive to make the place of death unchangeable. Does desire arise and not disappear? Without fault in the mind, and with mindfulness, Those who are not attached to all desires, are said to be ascending. Like a blacksmith treats silver, The wise gradually, Little by little, Cleanse their own impurities. Just as a shoemaker tans leather, And makes shoes, Whatever desires are abandoned, That is the perfect happiness. If you want all happiness, Completely abandon all desires. By completely abandoning all desires, You will attain supreme happiness. As long as you follow desires, You will never be satisfied. Those who restrain themselves with wisdom, They will attain satisfaction. Because desires can never be satisfied, Therefore, generate satisfaction through wisdom. A person satisfied by wisdom, Will not be controlled by existence. Those who are attached to desires, Alas, they enjoy unlawful pleasures. When living a little, They do not see obstacles.

also changes. Inferior wisdom is destroyed by enjoyment, not seeking the other shore, thinking destroyed by attachment to desire, self and others are also destroyed. Even if the rain of Karshapanas falls, desires cannot satisfy, desires are of little taste and have many disadvantages, this is what the wise know. Even the desires of the gods do not increase their joy, because the fully enlightened and the hearers, when greed is exhausted, they rejoice. If there is a golden mountain king equal to the snowy mountains, but this wealth cannot satisfy one, one should understand well and act correctly. If one knows that it is the cause of suffering, they will never rejoice in desire, knowing that it is an arrow in the world, they learn the holy teachings to tame it. The second chapter on desire is complete. All sentient beings are destroyed by discrimination, attachment is not good, following the pure view, because of attachment, the field is widened, they are bound by their own bonds. If there is joy in near silence, always remembering the impure contemplation, they have forever cut off attachment, they are liberated from their own bonds. Greed is covered by a dark net, greed is covered and shameless, laziness binds all beings, like a fish falling into a trap. If a man is indulgent, greed grows like a vine, he only increases the suffering of old age and death, like a calf seeking milk by its mother's side. People are addicted to mindfulness, and think of pleasure, they repeatedly wander in birth, like a monkey seeking fruit in a garden. Whoever always wants happiness, he only approaches birth and old age, all sentient beings are chased by greed, like a rabbit running into a net. All sentient beings are subdued by greed, their minds are addicted to existence and non-existence, they are addicted to the aggregates like infants, they repeatedly obtain suffering. Sentient beings are far from accomplishment and joy, but are always in harmony with the works of demons, they only increase the suffering of old age and death, like a calf seeking milk by its mother's side. This attachment

Thus, one who abandons, being without attachment to existence and non-existence, the monk who subdues existence, passes into complete nirvana without remainder. If one is employed by this desire woman who is difficult to abandon in the world, then his sorrow increases, like grass receiving rain. If one abandons this desire woman who is difficult to abandon in the world, then his sorrow recedes, like a drop of water from a lotus. Therefore, as many as have gathered here, I say to you, may you be well, like digging up ushira grass, uproot desire with its roots. If a man is with desire, he will wander for a long time in samsara, therefore, uproot desire, without sorrow and without fear. Again and again taking birth, again and again entering the womb, because of the change of place and the change of other things, sentient beings go to the light. Here, abandon the desire that is difficult to abandon, cut off its seed, then there will be no desire for it, and it will not revolve again. Do not let this leisure of opportunity be wasted, because it binds gods and humans, clinging to the objects of desire, fight against it. Even if sentient beings are born in hell, they will regret wasting their leisure. When desire becomes the cause of the ocean of existence, the objects of desire are the basis of the fruit. If the suffering desire covered by the net of vines is not subdued, then this suffering will not return again and again in various ways. For example, if a tree is not uprooted from its roots, even if it is cut down, it will only grow again. Likewise, if the subtle growth of desire is not uprooted, then this suffering will not recede again and again. For example, a weapon made by oneself, it kills oneself by the power of thieves, likewise, desire arising from the inner mind can cause sentient beings to approach death. Thus, know that desire is the source of suffering, abandon desire, do not approach it again, and the mindful monk should always wander. The third chapter on desire. Prudence is the place of immortality, negligence is the place of death, the prudent do not die, the negligent always die. Knowing the difference between them, the wise are always prudent, extremely rejoicing in the prudent,
