From the aggregates, as one makes many flower garlands, so too, having been born as a human, one should also perform many virtuous deeds. Just as the summer jasmine flower blooms exceedingly clearly, so too, a monk should abandon attachment, anger, and ignorance. When a person's mind is attached and accumulates like flowers, the Lord of Death takes them away, like a sleeping village swept away by water. When a person's mind is attached and accumulates like flowers, they are not satisfied by desires, and the Lord of Death subdues them. When a person's mind is attached and accumulates like flowers, enjoyment does not arise, and the Lord of Death subdues them. When a person's mind is attached and accumulates like flowers, before the task is completed, the Lord of Death subdues them. Having realized this body to be like a pot, and knowing all phenomena to be like illusions, cutting off the supreme flowers of Mara here, one goes where even the King of Death cannot see. Having realized this world to be like a pot, and knowing all phenomena to be like illusions, cutting off the supreme flowers of Mara here, one goes where even the King of Death cannot see. Having realized this body to be like a bubble, and knowing all phenomena to be like illusions, cutting off the supreme flowers of Mara here, one goes where even the King of Death cannot see. Having realized this world to be like a bubble, and knowing all phenomena to be like illusions, cutting off the supreme flowers of Mara here, one goes where even the King of Death cannot see. Like the flower of the Udumbara tree, the monk who thinks of emptiness, he is the one who has gone beyond, beyond the beyond, abandoning the old skin of a snake. Like a lotus born in water, the monk who cuts off all attachment, he is the one who has gone beyond, beyond the beyond, abandoning the old skin of a snake. Like a lotus born in water, the monk who cuts off all anger, he is the one who has gone beyond, beyond the beyond, abandoning the old skin of a snake. Like a lotus born in water, the monk who cuts off all ignorance

Whoever, that is the other shore of the non-other shore, abandoning like an old snake shedding its skin, like a lotus flower dwelling in water with its roots and stems, what monk cuts off all arrogance, that is the other shore of the non-other shore, abandoning like an old snake shedding its skin, like a lotus flower dwelling in water with its roots and stems, what monk cuts off all attachment, that is the other shore of the non-other shore, abandoning like an old snake shedding its skin, like a lotus flower dwelling in water with its roots and stems, what monk cuts off all craving, that is the other shore of the non-other shore, abandoning like an old snake shedding its skin, the eighteenth cluster of flowers. Just as a good horse is whipped, frightened and running vigorously, endowed with faith, discipline, and samadhi, and endowed with thoroughly ascertaining the dharmas, the senses are subdued, endowed with patience, easy to get along with, those saviors abandon all existence. Just as a good horse is whipped, frightened and running vigorously, endowed with faith, discipline, and samadhi, and endowed with thoroughly ascertaining the dharmas, endowed with intelligence and footprints and endowed with mindfulness, the saviors will abandon all suffering. Like a horse well-tamed by a tamer, whoever is good at subduing the senses, abandoning anger and exhausting the outflows, those able ones will experience the realm of the gods. With diligence, counteract negligence, with much sleeplessness, counteract drowsiness, like a good horse counteracting a bad horse, with extreme wisdom, abandon and then go. Like the whip of a good horse, whoever relies on shame, is good at abiding in wisdom, he will eliminate evil. The tamed one goes to the desired place, the tamed one is especially ridden by the king, whoever can endure harsh words, the tamed one is the best among men. Like a great elephant among elephants, and a good horse of Sindhu, and whoever tames a mule, superior to them is taming oneself, whoever is well-tamed in oneself, that wise one will attain peace, but those vehicles cannot possibly attain that place.
