Those are their lord and king. If the various establishments of the capable ones (Thubpa) are shown, but one does not understand those establishments of the capable ones, it is because of the nature of reality (chos nyid). Here, the so-called nature of reality refers to the noble path. This is the master of the capable ones, so it is the master of the capable ones. What is that? It is the scriptures, that is, the twelve parts belonging to the scriptures. All of them mean without omission. Regarding the term "meaning and words," the former "meaning" indicates grasping and understanding the explanation, and the latter "words" indicates the letters. Alternatively, meaning refers to definitely accomplishing good deeds, and words refer to comprehending the nature of self-characteristics and general characteristics. "Having a state of ability" indicates being capable. Ability itself is having a state of ability, which is synonymous with being able to receive, hold, and comprehend. "The virtuous ones" refers to the supreme person, that is, ordinary people who are very happy with virtuous behavior, the virtuous ones. "Is" means becoming like that. "Although obtained" refers to existence, indicating the behavior of external conditions. Just as the protector of the world said, "There are two causes and two conditions for the arising of right view: hearing the sounds of others and properly attending to it in one's mind." Therefore, "having ability" refers to the inner cause, and "is" refers to the teachings of others. With regard to what? With regard to all the scriptures of the master of the capable ones. Since this is the case, why do those who have obtained ability completely degenerate? The answer is, "Because they are hindered by immediate tasks." Here, it is said, "hindered by immediate tasks," which is synonymous with being busy with affairs. "The loss of what has not been obtained" refers to the complete loss of what has not been obtained. Regarding this, there are three types of complete loss: the complete loss of what has been obtained, the complete loss of what has not been obtained, and the complete loss of what is enjoyed. Among them, degenerating from the qualities obtained from meditation and so on is the complete loss of what has been obtained. With regard to ability, not obtaining is the complete loss of what has not been obtained. Not manifesting what has been obtained is the complete loss of what is enjoyed. Why does the complete loss of what has not been obtained become a complete loss? This refers to the synonym of becoming a state of not having the ability to receive and hold, etc. Some people with weak wisdom refer to some people with dull minds. Words and meaning
