From "actions and others will also be refuted" in between, as before. The Teacher also said this: With faults and crookedness, accompanied by deceit and stinginess, going to secluded places and being intimate, viewing evil and being disrespectful, speaking falsely and being ignorant, desiring evil and being angry, knowing to dwell with them, those who associate like ghosts should always be completely abandoned. Those who are not monks but speak as monks, cut off desire, rotten wood should be removed, those without essence should be discarded. After completely abandoning the desire for evil, with perfect conduct, pure and extremely pure, thinking of dwelling together, those who gather and assemble will bring suffering to an end. Thus it was said. As for "Thus there are four kinds of monks," etc., this is quoted from the first verse of the summary verses of the sixth sutra in the sixth: Then, the Blessed One, the Garlanded One, traveled to the land of evil and stayed in the Jāloka garden. The giants of the land of evil heard that the Blessed One, the Garlanded One, had traveled to the land of evil and was staying in the Jāloka garden. Having heard this, they gathered together, and after fully gathering together, they went to where the Blessed One was. Having gone there, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One and sat on one side. After sitting on one side, the Blessed One taught the giants of the land of evil with words in accordance with the Dharma, truly showing, truly encouraging, truly delighting, and truly clarifying. At that time, among the assembled retinue, there was a blacksmith's son named Tsanda who had gathered and was sitting there. Then, the Blessed One taught the giants of the land of evil with words of Dharma, truly showing, truly encouraging, and truly delighting them, and then remained silent without speaking. The giants of the land of evil were very pleased and rejoiced at the words spoken by the Blessed One, and after bowing their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, they departed from the presence of the Blessed One. The blacksmith's son Tsunda remained sitting there. Then, the blacksmith's son

After Tsunda, the sinful giant, had left and a long time had passed, he rose from his seat, draped his upper garment over one shoulder, and went to where the Blessed One was. He folded his palms and prostrated to the Blessed One, and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, would you allow me to invite the Sangha of monks to my house for a meal?" The Blessed One did not speak to Tsunda, the blacksmith's son, thus indicating his consent. Then Tsunda, the blacksmith's son, knowing that the Blessed One's silence meant consent, bowed his head to the Blessed One's feet and departed. That night, Tsunda, the blacksmith's son, cooked fruits and grains, and prepared clean and blessed food and a feast for the Blessed One and the Sangha of monks. He set out seats, placed water vessels, and sent messengers to announce the time, saying, "Venerable ones, the time for the meal has arrived. Now, please, Blessed One, know the time." Then, in the morning, the Blessed One, having put on his robes and taken his bowl, surrounded by the assembly of monks, and in the presence of the assembly of monks, went to the place where the blacksmith Su Tsunda was offering the meal. Having arrived, he sat down on the prepared seat in the midst of the Sangha of monks. Then Tsunda, the blacksmith's son, knowing that the Buddha and the Sangha of monks were facing him and seated comfortably, offered and bestowed from his own hands various abundant jackfruit and well-prepared grains. He also offered and bestowed clean and blessed food to the Sangha of monks from his own hands. At that time, a sinful monk stole another monk's hat and hid it under his armpit. That sinful monk was seen by the Buddha and Tsunda through the power of the Buddha. Then Tsunda, the blacksmith's son, in various ways, offered and bestowed from his own hands abundant jackfruit and well-prepared grains, and also offered and bestowed clean and blessed food and drink to the Sangha of monks from his own hands. Then the Blessed One ate and washed his hands, taking his bowl.
