The reason for saying "because it is a retinue" is that patience is the retinue of this wisdom, so these patiences are the retinue of wisdom. Because for ordinary people, it is expressed by the name of retinue, and abandonment is also the fruit of patience. Among them, it is mentioned that just as the king's retinue is called the king, it is the same here. When people who fight for victory and defeat are given the name of king, just as the king's retinue is called the king, it is the same here. The reason for saying "because wisdom and fruit are the same" is that thorough knowledge is the fruit of patience. "All unobstructed fruits" means that, for the time being, the path of seeing is the position of unobstructedness. The path of cultivation is also the same, because it will be explained that "with unpolluted unobstructedness, there is no desire for everything." "The fruit of the actual practice of meditation is the five kinds of thorough knowledge," the path of the position of the actual practice of meditation is not the antidote to the afflictions of the desire realm, because it will be explained that "the eight noble ones overcome their own higher position." "What is the nature of abandoning the afflictions of the form realm and the formless realm?" refers to the three kinds of thorough knowledge that have abandoned what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing, and the thorough knowledge of the exhaustion of desire for form in the form realm that has abandoned what is to be abandoned by the path of cultivation, and the thorough knowledge of completely severing all bonds in the formless realm that are practiced, for a total of five kinds. Also, how are these the fruits of the actual practice of meditation? If one is liberated from desire and enters into certainty. "Abandoning the afflictions of the desire realm is the unobstructed fruit," refers to abandoning what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. Because one has not been liberated from the desire realm, one cannot enter the actual practice of meditation. Venerable Melodious Voice, having abandoned the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing through the worldly path of cultivation, considers this to be the fruit of the path of seeing, then it becomes a thorough knowledge of abandonment that is consistent with the last part.

Apart from the desire realm, if it is thought that practicing in the desire realm, after the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing are abandoned, adding three kinds of complete knowledge, then the fruit of the actual practice of meditation, the complete knowledge, is eight kinds. Therefore, in order to be consistent with the final part, the abandoned complete knowledge is the unobstructed fruit, so it is said. In order to obtain the attainment of detachment, the unpolluted, it means that because the attainment of detachment, the unpolluted, of those afflictions in the desire realm will also be attained. Therefore, according to the view of the venerable Dhyanasvara, the first two forms in the desire realm are abandoned as one, etc., all these are eight kinds. Special meditation should also be regarded as meditation, how is this said? Just as it is said, "The five or eight of meditations," so the fruit of special meditation is also complete knowledge, five or eight kinds. One of the near attainments is, it means that in the near attainment of the sphere of infinite space, there is no path of seeing, and that is not the antidote to one's own realm and the higher realm or the desire realm. Also of the three formless actual practices, it means that except for the peak of existence, not being separated from desire from the lower realm is not entering the formless actual practice. Because there is the saying, "In the peak of existence, the noble ones have nothing, after manifesting, the outflows are exhausted," so it is except for the peak of existence. Everything is of the noble path, it means that it is included by the path of seeing and the path of cultivation, distinguished by the knowledge of dharma and the knowledge of analogy, etc. There are two worldly ones that appear, why is it that the complete knowledge of all conforming combinations is not a worldly fruit? Like this, because there is no worldly path that becomes the antidote to the peak of existence. The subsequent one is also, it means that it is also included by the path of cultivation. There are two kinds of fruit complete knowledge, the last is pure, it means the complete knowledge of the exhaustion of desire for form and the complete knowledge of all conforming combinations. The knowledge of dharma is three kinds, it means that it is included by the path of cultivation, cultivating
