The Fruition of a Person, the Fruition of Similar Cause, the Fruition of Complete Ripening, and the Fruition of Separation. The statement "being a path for the sake of abandonment" is established in terms of its essence. The path for the sake of abandonment is called the path of abandonment. The statement "because it abandons afflictions" is established in terms of its function. It is both abandonment and a path, so the sentences should be connected in this way. Regarding "subsequent similar dharmas arising from samadhi," the mention of "arising from samadhi" is to exclude that which is not samadhi. The mention of "similar" is to exclude the uncontaminated and the unspecified. "Co-emergent" refers to feelings and so forth that are similarly possessed by it, not to having birth and so on. "Whatever is obtained in the future" means that whatever dharma is obtained in the future by its power is also the Fruition of a Person. Therefore, what is abandoned is also established as the Fruition of a Person, and not merely the Fruition of Separation. The statement "except for those that have previously arisen" is because those that have previously arisen cannot be a fruition, as it is said: "What has previously arisen is not, what is conditioned is conditioned, it is only the master of that, hence the fruition." The statement "except for the Fruition of Complete Ripening" is because there is no complete ripening in the uncontaminated. Its Fruition of Similar Cause is the subsequent similar dharmas arising from samadhi. The Fruition of Separation is only separation, which is what is abandoned. The Fruition of a Person is the dharma led by that, such as the path of liberation, its co-emergence, whatever is obtained in the future, and what is abandoned. The Fruition of Mastery is all conditioned phenomena other than its own nature, except for what has previously arisen. Whether it is virtuous or non-virtuous. The statement that contaminated karma, both in samadhi and not in samadhi, other than the path of abandonment, all of those, except for the Fruition of Separation, are associated with fruition by the four fruitions, because it is not the path of abandonment, so there is no Fruition of Separation. Its complete ripenin

The result of maturation is the ripened result belonging to one's own ground, either agreeable or disagreeable. The result of correspondence is the similar later dharmas born from samadhi. The result of the agent is the dharmas brought about by it, arising together or subsequently. The remaining dominant result is as before. 'The remainder is without outflows,' etc. The mention of 'remainder' is to eliminate the path of abandonment. That is, whatever exists in the paths of application, liberation, and distinction. Since it is not the path of abandonment, there is no result of separation. Since it is without outflows, there is no result of maturation. The remainder is as before. Whatever is unspecified karma, that is, obscured and unspecified, and unobscured and unspecified, also has three results. Since it is not the path of abandonment, it has no result of separation. Since it is unspecified, there is no result of maturation. The remainder is only as before. 'Good of good,' etc., 'four and two and likewise three.' This is in order, as it is. How is it? The result of good, the dharma is good, there are four. Its result, non-good, there are two. Its result, unspecified, there are three. Except for the result of maturation, because maturation is unspecified. Non-good, there are two, namely the agent result and the dominant result. There is no result of correspondence, because in this way, the corresponding cause of good is good dharmas. There is also no result of maturation, because in this way, maturation is unspecified, and non-good is unspecified because of maturation. There is also no result of separation, because it is non-good. Implicitly, the agent result and the dominant result, those should be explained as before. Unspecified, there are four, how is it non-good

If it is said that the concordant result of the uncharacterized dharmas, how could it be so? It would not be so. Because they are dissimilar, because they are with maturation and without maturation. If it is said that non-virtue is not the same as the uncharacterized dharmas, then there is no fault, because non-virtue and the uncharacterized dharmas are similar in that they are afflicted. Therefore, the obscured and uncharacterized can also be the concordant result of non-virtues, and non-virtues can also be the concordant result of the obscured and uncharacterized. Therefore, the uncharacterized is spoken of in detail, that is, the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of clinging to extremes are the non-virtues that pervade, the sufferings and the origins are to be abandoned by seeing, and the sufferings are to be abandoned by seeing the concordant result of attachment and so on, because it is said in the sutra: 'The equally divided pervades, the result is the concordant cause.' The non-virtues are spoken of in detail, that is, the five non-virtues to be abandoned by seeing suffering and so on are the results of the uncharacterized view of the perishable aggregate and the view of clinging to extremes. The so-called "only these" refers to the three results other than the maturation result. The result of past actions, the three times, that is, the past, the future, and the present, are four kinds of phenomena. The so-called "the result of separation is excluded" is because it is not included in the realm. How is it done? The maturation result of past actions is its maturation in the past. The result of the agent is the past that is produced by it, either arising simultaneously or subsequently in succession. The dominant result is that which arises simultaneously with the past, except for its own nature, and the phenomena that arise later. The concordant result is the similar phenomena that arise later. The future of the maturation result of the past is its maturation. The result of the agent is that by whose power the future phenomena are obtained.
