As said, "Pūḥ svāhā," etc., my ability is blocked for consciousness. As it is, it has been declared as such, named: Because it transforms from what has become. The support is the eye, etc., as it is said. What is called relying on that is relying on me. In the manner of words, it has been answered, named: What is the support of what? Those are not relying on things like paintings and junipers, nor can they be considered as supports like walls and pots, because there would be the fault of obstruction and difference. If that is not such a support. Then what is it like? It is explained in detail. Born from that, named: From that seed, the ability of that is born, is a synonym for this. Like what has been said, it is said, like the vow-holder who keeps the precepts. What is near and what is familiar, etc., is explained in detail, that is, in one continuum, the four karmas are heavy, near, familiar, and previously done. Among these four, the heavy karma is first, so it matures earlier by the third. Among the near, familiar, and previously done, the near is also first, so it matures earlier by the second. Among the familiar and previously done, the familiar is also first, so it matures earlier by one. If there are none of these, then what was done in the previous life will mature to be experienced in other times. Of those who are not afflicted, named: Of the virtuous and unobscured and unindicated, etc. Born from the distinction of transformation, named: From the combination of earth and water, the subtle transformation of the fruit is transformation. The distinction of that is that it is the distinguished one, from which the distinction of transformation is born. From that, another fruit is born. To show from what kind of distinction of transformation it is born. The aspect that arises from that, which can accomplish the sprout, whatever exists, it is said that it is the seed of that. The sprout is the seed of that. It is not another aspect of arising, it is not the aspect of arising of the state of the previous seed, it is a synonym for this. By the name of transformation

How to cook rice? Just as the term "grinding flour" is used to name something, similarly, the term "seed" is used for the previous continuous existence that is in a seed state and has not decayed. The reason for saying "because of similarity" is that the previous continuous existence is also called "seed" because it is similar to arising from the characteristic of change and the characteristic of complete decay. Similarly, regarding this, that is, the extensive arising, if a change of virtuous contaminated mind arises from the characteristic of the causes and conditions of hearing the Dharma and proper attention, or if a change of non-virtuous mind arises from the characteristic of the causes and conditions of hearing non-Dharma and improper attention, then another form will arise from that. Otherwise, it is not, so this is the same. Just as another fruit does not arise from just a fruit. Then what is it? Just as it arises from the characteristic of change, another Vipaka does not arise from just Vipaka. Then what is it? Because it arises from the characteristic of the change of mind, so this is the same. The red pistil in the fruit refers to the pistil in the fruit that contains the sour juice of Bijapura. The reason for saying "another does not arise from it" is that the same red pistil does not arise from that red pistil. Then what is it? Only ordinary, non-red pistils arise, that is its meaning. This is an example here, just as another Madhulunga flower and red pistil with fruit whose color has been changed by madder dyeing do not arise, similarly, another Vipaka does not arise from Vipaka arising from karma. Here it is said: This mind continuously arises together with infinite seeds. If the seed encounters its own causes and conditions, it will grow in the mind. When it gradually grows and finds a way to enter, it will bear fruit in due time. Like the color applied to the Madhulunga flower, it is like its pistil. It is also said: Just like cotton seeds and Madhulunga flowers, if madder is applied, even if it disappears, through the sequence of impregnation, red will appear on the cotton and pistil. Karma disappears.
