Not disturbing. Not disturbing everywhere. Not disturbing extremely everywhere. Not plundering. Not plundering everywhere. Not plundering extremely everywhere. Bhikshus, Bhikshunis, Upasakas, Upasikas, gods, nagas, asuras, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, yakshas, rakshasas, humans, non-humans, etc., respect, honor, venerate, and make offerings. This is its omen. For this, the dharma nature is like this, and it should be said like this to it. When the feet of the Sugata are extremely stable, listen to those who have attained this sign. Happiness, discipline, asceticism, generosity, dharma, virtue, generating happiness, and whatever else there is, having truly taken and firmly abided by oneself, the steps are firm and unmoving like Mount Sumeru. Why does a Bodhisattva obtain the mark of a great man, with a wheel arising from the soles of both feet? It is said: From the time called "previous existence," the Bodhisattva, extensively, until the previous other lifetimes, in the past, exhaustion, cessation, separation, transformation, complete exhaustion, towards parents, relatives, elders, teachers, and others, and other shramanas, brahmins, those who should not be harmed, and those who do not like to harm, even birds and deer, they protect, rescue, and hide in accordance with the Dharma. From that time on, the discipline of the compassionate one is also truly taken and abided by. From there, and like that truly taken, and like that truly held, after the body is destroyed, one is born sharing the reward with the gods of Tushita. Having been born there, not long after, one is three times more superior in the heavenly abode than the gods of the Tushita realm who were born earlier, starting from "..." and speaking extensively, and then dying and transmigrating from there to this realm, one is born sharing the reward with humans, until "...". He will be born here in the palace of the king or in the house of the minister.

There. There, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva obtains the marks of a great man, and a wheel mark appears on the soles of both feet. Its omen is this: if he stays at home and lives in the household, he becomes a universal monarch, called the victor of the four quarters, and from the extensive point of view, he is connected to the point of being well established in accordance with the Dharma and equally, and he obtains the precious wheel of the gods. Then, having well established the four continents, he exercises the power of kingship in the four continents. The retinue of queens and youths, etc., from the extensive point of view, are connected to the point of making images and making offerings. If he shaves his hair and beard, etc., from the extensive point of view, if he renounces, then in the world he becomes a Tathagata, an Arhat, a perfectly complete Buddha, and it is said that his voice will be widely spread. He has attained the Noble Eightfold Path, and therefore, having abandoned all defilements, he has attained unobstructed wisdom in all dharmas. Monks and nuns, etc., from the extensive point of view, are connected to the point of making images and making offerings. This is its omen. This is its nature, and it should be said to him: Parents and relatives, as well as other teachers, deer and birds alike, are protected in accordance with the Dharma. By the ripening of that virtue, a wheel with a thousand spokes, a hub, and a rim appears on the soles of both feet. Why does the Bodhisattva obtain the marks of a great man: long fingers, broad heels, and a tall, straight body? He said: The Bodhisattva, in his previous existences, etc., from the extensive point of view, refrains from killing for the sake of all living beings, even ants. Having turned away from killing, having abandoned sticks and weapons, knowing shame and having compassion, he abandons killing. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva abandons taking what is not given, and having turned away from taking what is not given, he takes what is given and rejoices in giving.

Giving and bestowing and the desire to abandon, not stealing, becoming pure, clean, guarding oneself with purity, abandoning taking what is not given, making the mind completely pure from taking what is not given. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva treats parents and relatives and elders and teachers and the like, as well as other ascetics and Brahmins who are without fault, and those who delight in being without fault, speaking frankly to them, prostrating, rising and offering a seat, from which he receives and accepts properly, and with such he is reborn equal to the gods of Tushita after the destruction of the body. Having been born there, before long, he surpasses the gods of the Tushita realm who were born earlier by three abodes of the gods, beginning with "called," and expanding. From there, after death and transference, he is reborn equal to the people of this world. He will be born here in the palace of a king or in the house of a minister. There, that Bodhisattva will obtain the marks of a great man, namely long fingers, wide heels, and a tall and upright body. This is his omen: if he dwells in a house and remains in a house, then he will become a Chakravartin king who conquers the four continents, beginning with "called," and expanding, living long and being honored, regarded as a teacher, depicted, and offered to, up to the end of the expansion. If he shaves his hair and beard, beginning with "called," then if he goes forth, he will become a Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly enlightened Buddha in the world, and his fame will be widely proclaimed, up to the end of what is said. If the Blessed One wishes, he can live for a kalpa or longer, being honored, regarded as a teacher, up to the end of the expansion. This is his omen. For this, the Dharma nature is such that one should say to him: When the Victor's fingers become long, the heels of the feet wide, and the body tall and upright, he turns back from the act of taking the life of beings.
