Because for those who seek tranquility, the actions of body and speech are extremely perfect and appropriate, therefore it is completely grasped by the perfect ritual, and in order to completely eliminate all the faults of living by false means such as hypocrisy, therefore it is completely grasped by perfect livelihood, and in order to completely eliminate the merit of desire and the actions that make oneself tired, therefore it completely eliminates the two extremes, and in order to completely eliminate the views of all heretics, therefore it can overcome them, and because it does not decline or perish, therefore it is truly taken and does not decline. Thus, these nine aspects are the great aggregate of the Bodhisattva's precepts, which produce the fruit of great Bodhi. Relying on this, the Bodhisattva's precept paramita is perfected, and thus manifest complete perfect enlightenment. As long as perfect complete enlightenment is not manifested, then during this period, while learning this immeasurable aggregate of Bodhisattva's precepts, five benefits will be obtained: one will be remembered by the Buddhas; one will die while abiding in great joy; after the body is destroyed, one will be reborn where there are Bodhisattvas who are the same or more superior in precepts, and with virtuous friends who have the same faculties and are in accordance with the Dharma; in this life one will possess immeasurable accumulations of merit that perfect the precept paramita; and in the next life one will also obtain the self-born precepts, that is, obtain the nature of those precepts. Thus, this immediately cuts off falling into the lower realms and will not be reborn there. Otherwise, how could such benefits arise from this? If one thinks that Bodhicitta has arisen, then this is not the desire to cut off the lower realms. Even so, this will not be reborn in the lower realms, because even if the lower realms have not been cut off, this does not desire to be born there. Therefore, this is the benefit of such a Bodhicitta.

There are many kinds. Furthermore, if there is no sin and no birth there, what will become the benefit of what? Whoever wants to immediately cut off the evil destinies, but this is not entirely not wanting to be born in all these evil destinies. Even after a long time, one will be born in the hundred paths in the future, but one will also quickly be liberated from there, and even if one dwells there, one will not experience unbearable feelings like the inferior ones. Because of being very discouraged, how will the sentient beings who were born there earlier be able to fully ripen the virtuous dharmas? It is said: "For a long time in the evil destinies, going and quickly getting liberated, also experiencing small suffering there, sad sentient beings become ripened." Like that. Furthermore, it is not reasonable to say that one is born in the evil destinies like this, because there is no harm and being controlled by others, so it is not related to the characteristics of being without leisure. Even if he is born there, he will not experience it, because he will accumulate the accumulation of accomplishing the benefit of self and others. Bodhisattvas intentionally take birth there for the benefit of others, and even in the happy destinies, they want to take the life of someone like him, so he will not approach those hells either. It is not (the Bodhisattva's purpose) for the sake of others, not for the sake of perfect wealth, or for the perfection of one's own things, or for the desire for liberation. It is said: "For the sake of sentient beings, abiding in the desire for hell, unbearable suffering cannot harm the prince. As long as merit is covered by shortcomings, the wise ones with various good thoughts will cause harm. The wise ones abiding in hell will never hinder the attainment of immaculate Bodhi. For the diligence of other vehicles and the selfish delusions, even abiding in bliss, it will cause obstacles." Like that. All these nine kinds of precepts are the precepts of protection, the precepts of accumulating virtuous dharmas, and the precepts of benefiting sentient beings, it should be known that these three kinds of precepts are covered. Furthermore, these three kinds of precepts

Having taken them perfectly, one performs the three activities of a Bodhisattva. The discipline of restraining is what makes the mind abide. The discipline of gathering virtuous dharmas is what makes me perfect the Buddha's dharma. The discipline of working for the benefit of sentient beings is what makes sentient beings perfect. All the activities of a Bodhisattva are exhausted in these. For example, to make the mind abide for the sake of living happily in this life, to perfect the dharma of increasing without tiring the body and mind, and to perfect sentient beings. The discipline of a Bodhisattva is exhausted in these. The benefits of a Bodhisattva's discipline are also exhausted in these. The activities of a Bodhisattva's discipline are also exhausted in these. The Bodhisattvas of the past who desired great enlightenment also trained in them. The future ones will also train. Those who now dwell in the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions are also training. Thus, this is the discipline of the Bodhisattvas. What is the difference between this discipline and others? What should be used to measure it? It is said, "It is the treasure of all merits." This statement shows that by the name of merit, one can perfectly take the vows of other disciplines. The word "treasure" means supreme. Just as a small amount of wealth that is most excellent among all things is inexhaustible in all kinds of needs, and is of great importance, it is called a treasure. Similarly, this Bodhisattva's discipline of vows, which is taken purely with the intention of taking it, becomes a method of diligently benefiting oneself and others, and becomes an antidote to all faults, is therefore superior to all other fully taken Pratimoksha vows, and is like a treasure, so it is called a treasure. Therefore, all commitments are inexhaustible until the ultimate end of Bodhi, and are associated with the qualities of attaining Buddhahood, so it is of great importance, and the realm of sentient beings
