If it is said that there is nothing unreasonable in seeing (phenomena). Although it is so, since the valid cognition has established that all dharmas have power, it will become truly existent, and that will not be Madhyamaka. Furthermore, power cannot be seen either, because there are no seeds, etc. Because the consciousness that appears as seeds thinks that it exists. It means that the power of sprouts, etc. produced from seeds, etc. is false, because seeds, etc. that are separated from the nature of one and many do not exist, because that does not conform to power. The consciousness of the other that appears as seeds has power, because it exists. The author of Pramāṇavārttika said: From the seed arises the sprout, just as smoke produces fire, this which relies on the external object, the agent exists in the consciousness. That is also appearing as seeds, etc., similarly related to the agent, if the conceptualization that relies on consciousness is like this, what contradiction is there? Thus it is said. The noble Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra also says: The agent who is removed from cause and condition, by stopping, is established as only mind, I said there is no birth. Thus it is said. There are six kinds of causes, namely co-emergent, etc. There are four kinds of conditions, namely cause and object, etc. The agent and Īśvara, etc. who are removed from those, by stopping those, it is established that only consciousness arises, it means that there is no birth produced by those. The venerable Nāgārjuna also said: Here, whatever is slightly unborn, there is also no slightly ceasing, birth and cessation, are only consciousness. Thus it is said. Here refers to the aggregates and elements, etc., it is the intention of definite grasping. Only consciousness refers to the consciousness of the other. Again, how is it that birth itself has no birth? The answer is: Whatever is unborn, by what will it become birth? Unborn is what it is called, just like not eating and not touching. Thus it is said, just as for what reason some people eat and touch, and some people do not eat or touch.
