There is no end to it. What has been done will not be destroyed, and the accumulated deeds of good and non-good will not be wasted before the fruit ripens. It is not that one does not know how to do it. How should I do good? By what means can one avoid falling into the lower realms and attain the happy realms? It is not as if one does not know these methods. If it is said, "Oh, ordinary beings!", this is a widespread occurrence, because desire itself is a false bubble, so saying that desire is a false bubble is to prevent attachment to it. If it is explained like this, then why do these ordinary beings cling to the false bubble of desire and lie down like pitiful, extremely drunk elephants? The term "ordinary beings" refers to those who are different from those who have seen the truth, those who are outside, and these people are called ordinary beings. "Alas, this!" This is to express compassion for them. "The lying down of an extremely drunk elephant" refers to the lying down of an extremely drunk elephant, so it is the lying down of an extremely drunk elephant. Another way to discourage is: "Children all have support!" This is a widespread occurrence. "Children all have support!" means that ordinary beings have support. Here, "Done, good!" is an exclamation. These verses, such as "Alas, unbearable, alas, difficult," and so on. "To establish wrongly with five faults" refers to the fact that there are two types of wrong establishment, which is explained as the characteristic of not listening to the Buddha's teachings. Wrong establishment is also explained by three other verses, which is a widespread occurrence. To explain through three other verses refers to the widespread occurrence of "What is the Buddha's teaching?", that is, through these three verses. In short, one should understand from the beginning of not listening to and not accepting the Buddha's teachings. First, to understand from the beginning of not listening, that is, the widespread occurrence of "What is the Buddha's teaching?"

Therefore, the wrong view of not listening to the Buddha's words is explained by the two verses from "Buddha's words" to "the cause of destruction, delighting in the sound of villages." Among them, phrases such as "How difficult it is to find the Buddha's words" should be appropriately connected to phrases such as "Buddha's words." From not clinging to what should be known, it widely appears as "it is also beneficial after hearing." Such clinging to wrong views is explained by the verse "Those who strive to benefit themselves, even if they are enemies." Here, too, it should be appropriately connected in terms of words or meaning. The so-called "expressed by words such as unpleasantness" means that wrong views are expressed by words such as unpleasantness and difficulty. How is it expressed? Because after seeing the wrong views, they will say, "Alas, unpleasant! Alas, difficult! Alas, suffering! Alas, terror!" etc. Because it is the cause of harm, it is the cause of harm to the body and the cause of harm to the mind. How is it harmful? Because killing, binding, beating, etc. are other harms, and it is a state of sorrow. Killing, binding, beating, etc. themselves are other harms, so killing, binding, beating, etc. are other harms, and the word "etc." includes disputes, etc. The state of other harms such as killing, binding, and beating is itself the basis. Therefore, suffering for the time being is because it is the cause of harm to the body. It is also the cause of harm to the mind, that is, because it is a state of sorrow, it is the basis of unpleasantness. Sorrow refers to the son of the dwelling place, the essence of the earth disappears, and beings gather and meet, alas, the essence of the earth, exhausted by sorrow, and utter wails. Similarly, you

For example, the "Eight States of Unfreedom." What are the eight states of unfreedom? Monks, these eight are unfavorable and untimely for one to abide in the practice of celibacy. What are these eight? Monks, the teacher, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, endowed with knowledge and conduct, the Sugata, the Knower of the World, the Guide of Beings to be Trained, the unsurpassed, the Teacher of Gods and Humans, the Buddha, the Blessed One, appears in this world and teaches the Dharma, which leads to peace, leads to complete Nirvana, and leads to perfect enlightenment, as taught by the Sugata, but that being is born in the hells. This is the first unfavorable and untimely state for one to abide in the practice of celibacy. Similarly, it is the same for those born among animals. This is the second, as before. Similarly, it is the same for those born among the pretas. This is the third, as before. Furthermore, from the extensive explanation until "that being is born among the long-lived gods." This is the fourth. Furthermore, from "the Dharma taught by the Sugata" to "that being is born in a border region where the four assemblies—monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen—are not found, born among barbarian tribes in a remote region." This is the fifth state of unfreedom, as before. Furthermore, from the extensive explanation, from "the Dharma taught by the Sugata" to "that being is born in the central lands, but he is foolish, stupid like a sheep, a gesture-maker, unable to understand the meaning of well-spoken and ill-spoken words." As before, this is the sixth state of unfreedom and untimeliness. Furthermore, from the extensive explanation, from "the Dharma taught by the Sugata" to "that being is born in the central lands, and he is not foolish, not stupid like a sheep, not a gesture-maker, able to understand the meaning of well-spoken and ill-spoken words.
