Again, it is related to merits. The world and samsara are not apparent, and at all times, even gods and humans do not see it. As it is called, the word 'also' gathers the seeing. At all times, gods and humans do not see it either, which shows the nature of the Bhagavan with the three bodies. Two are because of seeing, and one is because of not seeing. The so-called profound shows the self-nature. The so-called extremely profound shows the difference. Because it is not the object of the wisdom of worldly wise people, whatever is difficult to realize is the self-nature of the Dharmakaya. Because it is not the object of the wisdom of Shravakas and others, whatever is extremely profound is its difference. These twelve aspects of profoundness are gathered by these verses, among which the profoundness of birth is the birth of the unborn Buddha. As it is called, the birth of the Buddha is the non-birth of other afflictions, and their non-birth is the birth of the Buddhas, so it is the birth of the unborn. The profoundness of Nirvana is abiding without abiding. It is called this. Abiding without abiding in samsara and Nirvana is the term for Nirvana without abiding. The profoundness of activity is spontaneously accomplishing all actions. Like a Mani jewel and cymbals, there is no effort and it also benefits sentient beings. The profoundness of abiding is that the four foods are offerings. As it is called, among the four foods, what abides in the impure support is coarse food, and all those with the bonds of afflictions abide. What abides in the pure and impure support is the touch of those born in form and formlessness, attention, and consciousness. Because detachment from desire is obtained from coarse food. Even for those who have entered the stream, there is purity and impurity of the body, because of learning. They abide by any of the four foods. What abides in the extremely pure support is the Arhats, which are those four themselves. As it is shown as abiding by food, the food of the Buddhas and Bhagavans is also on coarse food.

Those four functions are those themselves. Those do not consume those, nor do those abide in those, but in accordance with the world, they also manifest and abide in that way. What is called 'non-difference' is the profound abiding. What is called 'immeasurable' is the profound number, because the Dharmakaya is undifferentiated, and in order to manifestly and completely awaken many bodies, it is in accordance with the order. Although immeasurable, the activities are not different. What then? The activities are the same and pure, because the Emanation Body and the Enjoyment Body accomplish the benefit of others. Therefore, it is called 'the unstable one has stable activities,' unstable in terms of the two, but stable in terms of its own nature. This is another profound activity. 'There is no manifest and complete enlightenment,' and so on, is the profundity of manifest enlightenment. How is there no manifest and complete enlightenment? Because it does not exist in the dependent nature of imputation. 'Everything is not Buddha,' is because the perfected nature of other-powered existence exists. 'Immeasurable in each instant,' is because of manifest and complete enlightenment in countless realms of the world that surpass the number of sands of the Ganges. 'The non-thing of things is completely distinguished,' means that the non-thing of things, emptiness, causes the Buddha to attain the supreme state. The profundity of being free from desire is: 'Not attached, nor not unattached.' How is it not attached? Because it does not exist in the dependent nature of imputation. Because it is not attached, therefore it is not unattached, because if there is attachment, non-attachment will arise. 'Attachment itself arises,' means that attachment to emptiness arises from the cause called aspiration for virtuous dharmas. Alternatively, having abandoned being completely entangled by desire, not eliminating the latent tendencies of desire, but using it as a resource, one attains great enlightenment. If the latent tendencies are eliminated, one will completely enter nirvana like a Shravaka. Desire, non-desire
