Thus, the activities of speech and the activities of mind should be spoken of. The three mindfulnesses are: when the Tathagata teaches the Dharma, some listen respectfully and pay attention, and keep the mind close to knowing everything, and practice the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma, but they do not please the Tathagata, the mind is not comfortable, and the mind is not happy; on the contrary, some do not listen respectfully, and so on, broadly speaking, they do not make the Tathagata completely annoyed, do not make him unbearable, and the mind is not very happy; some listen respectfully, and some do not listen respectfully, but they do not make the Tathagata happy and completely annoyed, the Tathagata is always mindful and dwells in equanimity while knowing. The nature of not forgetting is only because of the good cutting of habits, which will be discussed below. The meaning of the eighteen unshared Dharmas of the Buddha is that the meaning of unshared is the meaning of unmixed. The Tathagata is without confusion, that is, the Bhikshu Arhat who has exhausted the outflows, when walking in the city for alms, sometimes walks with violent elephants, violent horses, cows, man-eating dogs, or walks mixed with prostitutes, or treads on snakes with both feet, or enters the house where an improper woman is born when called, or goes astray in the monastery and walks on the wrong path, and walks with Dharma thieves, thieves, lions, tigers, jackals, etc., such confusions of the Arhats, the Tathagata does not have them in all of everything. Furthermore, when an Arhat sometimes walks in the great forest of a monastery, he gets lost and goes to an empty city, and makes a sound, makes a noise, makes a loud noise, and relies on the fault of habit, and shows a horse-like laugh that seems to arise from afflictions, such noise of the Arhat, the Tathagata does not have it in all of everything. The Tathagata is without forgetfulness

That is, in order to remember what has been done and said for a long time without afflictions. Furthermore, an Arhat is, if he enters into meditation, he will enter into Samadhi, but if he rises, he will not enter into Samadhi. The Tathagata, however, has no time when his mind does not enter into Samadhi. Furthermore, an Arhat is, he will not have a very unpleasant thought about the aggregates, and he will have a peaceful thought about Nirvana without aggregates. The Tathagata, however, does not have different thoughts about the aggregates and Nirvana. Furthermore, an Arhat is, he will abandon the affairs of sentient beings without discrimination. The Tathagata, however, does not have such abandonment without discrimination. Furthermore, an Arhat begins with the complete purification of the obscuration of knowledge, and completely falls away from the complete loss that has not been attained even from desire. He also completely falls away from diligence, mindfulness, Samadhi, wisdom, and liberation. The Tathagata, however, does not have these six kinds of complete loss. Furthermore, an Arhat is, sometimes the action of the body enters into virtuous action, and sometimes it enters into unspecified action. Just as the action of the body is, so are the actions of speech and mind. The three actions of the Tathagata are, because of wisdom preceding and wisdom following, there is no unspecified action. Among them, because wisdom is completely aroused, it is wisdom preceding. Because it runs together with wisdom, it is wisdom following. Furthermore, an Arhat is, he cannot realize all knowable things of the three times by mere effort, therefore his wisdom and view become obstructed. He also cannot realize everything, therefore his wisdom and view become obstructed. The Tathagata is, he can realize all knowable things of the three times by mere effort, therefore those are called the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. The all-supreme aspect of knowledge is the all-supreme aspect of knowledge that exists in the aggregates, realms, and sources, which is its nature. The verses mentioned here refer to the qualities residing in the Dharmakaya.

In this explanation of the 'Non-Existent Treatise,' verses are composed with the gateway of praise, thereby explaining these qualities. 'Loving-kindness towards sentient beings' is spoken because the four immeasurables are the very nature of loving-kindness. The thought of encountering happiness in times that are neither suffering nor happiness is loving-kindness. The thought of being separated from suffering in times of suffering is compassion. The thought of not being separated from happiness in times of happiness is joy. 'One who has intentions' refers to being taught. Considering happiness and benefit itself is equanimity. Equanimity is synonymous with 'silence,' characterized by the thought of being completely free from afflictions in order to prevent the arising of afflictions in others. Because you are virtue, I prostrate to you, connecting the prostration with everything. 'Definitely liberated from all obscurations' shows the distinction between the liberation of the Hearers and that of the Bhagavan. 'The Sage subdues all the world' fully demonstrates the distinction of the spheres of overcoming. 'Your knowledge pervades the knowable' fully demonstrates the sphere of exhaustion, unlike the eight liberations, eight spheres of overcoming, and ten spheres of exhaustion that arise from the Hearer's Vehicle. In this establishment, it is to precede the liberation, the spheres of overcoming, and the spheres of exhaustion. Non-affliction is the nature of conventional wisdom. To differentiate it, the non-affliction of the Hearers is that whether they go to a city or a village, they do not intervene in the conflicts between sentient beings, nor do they enter into situations where afflictions cause harm to themselves and others. The Buddha is not like that, because even when afflictions arise, he sees those who are capable of being tamed and then goes to tame the afflictions. That is, it is related to 'Taming all the afflictions of all sentient beings, taming them without exception.' How does one abide in non-affliction while merely avoiding the causes for the arising of some afflictions from others?
