That which has not completely destroyed and abandoned the seeds of afflictions is called latency, and it is also a bad destination. Therefore, as it is said, until those are not completely abandoned, it is certain that those flow from latency and are with outflows. Whatever mental and mental factors are afflicted, those are said to be with outflows even from corresponding co-emergence. Whatever exists, and the object of manifestation, and whatever arises from the power of outflows, that is said to be with outflows from the object of outflows. Among them, what is present is existent, and what is past and future is non-existent. Whatever is the object of consciousness based on purity, that is the object of manifestation, and whatever is different from that should be known as not being the object of manifestation. What arises from the power of outflows, for example, whatever arises from the power of internal sources, external sources arise, that should also be known as being with outflows only from its object. Thus, whatever afflictions arise focusing on the past and future, since the past and future are non-existent, it cannot be said to be with outflows from the object. Even if it is a present entity, there are also those that are not objects of manifestation, for example, pure form, and afflicted mental and mental factors, and all virtuous and neutral phenomena. Those also cannot be said to be with outflows from the object of afflictions, because in this way, afflictions arise on it from the characteristics that one has completely discriminated, because that dharma clearly becomes its object, it is not. Among them, what flows from manifestation and is with outflows is like this: latency has not been abandoned, and the object corresponding to the place of afflictions also appears, and improper attention also remains close, by that cause and that condition, whatever dharma arises, or has arisen, or will arise, all those should be known as being with outflows from manifestation. Furthermore, what is matured from non-virtuous afflictions, and the result arising from the power of maturation

Whatever objects outside the womb manifest and become accomplished should all be regarded as being with outflows, arising from manifestation. Furthermore, whatever connection is made there by the unspecified afflictions associated with form and formlessness should also be known as connecting and being with outflows, arising from manifestation. Thus, the classification of phenomena with outflows should be understood as being established solely by these five aspects: basis, latent tendencies, association, object, and arising. Similarly, the classification of phenomena without outflows is also established solely by five aspects. What are the five? There are also phenomena called without outflows because they are free from all entanglements, such as the location and object of all virtuous and unspecified minds and mental factors, as well as the phenomena of virtuous and unspecified minds and mental factors. There are also phenomena called without outflows because latent tendencies have been abandoned, such as the virtue that has abandoned all afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and meditation, as well as some of the unspecified forms that have been made into causes, as well as whatever worldly unspecified things there are, and all virtuous phenomena of mind and mental factors. There are also phenomena called without outflows because they have ceased, such as the fact that those afflicted phenomena of mind and mental factors do not arise, therefore they are without outflows, and the nirvana that is completely separated because those do not arise, and nirvana should also be said to be without outflows. There are also phenomena called without outflows because they are the antidote to abandoning what is to be abandoned by seeing, and because they are liberated by their very nature, such as all the paths of seeing. There are also phenomena called without outflows because they are the antidote to abandoning what is to be abandoned by meditation, and because they are liberated in their essence and continuum, such as the supramundane path of meditation and the path of no more learning. The classification of phenomena without outflows is established by these five aspects.
