If you are afraid to look, what more to say about looking at many. Go to help others do things and do things, such as agriculture, commerce, raising cattle, the king's errands, writing, accounting, talking and laughing, counting, manual calculation, reconciling with the master, reconciling with family members, reconciling with friends, reconciling with the king, accomplishing enjoyments, guarding, accumulating, giving away, donating, sending a bride, taking a bride, especially eating, gathering and eating, etc. For things similar to these, one will go to help. For those that harm oneself and others, bring suffering, do not bring benefit, such as fighting, exposing shortcomings, arguing, quarreling, etc., and other things that slander others, one will not do. Things that are not done are also prevented from the paths of the ten non-virtuous actions. Listen to others, rely on others, because patience and discipline are the same. Let others abandon my affairs, and arrange as they please for their own affairs. The mind is soft and firm, and one does not hold resentment and anger for a long time, otherwise, it will immediately become good. Adhere to the truth, and do not deceive others with untrue words. One does not like or do things that alienate the friendship of others. One does not speak unimportant, unnecessary, meaningless, or casual words. One also speaks pleasant words to one's own servants and other attendants, and does not say things that hurt the other person, let alone others. One likes merits and praises the merits of others. Like this and similar things, know that they are the signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's discipline paramita. The signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's patience paramita are these: the Bodhisattva is

Even if blamed, one does not naturally feel pain or harm. Even if suggestions are made, one listens quickly, does not hold grudges, and does not hold resentment for a long time. Those similar to this should be understood as signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's Perfection of Patience. Furthermore, the signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's Perfection of Diligence are these: The Bodhisattva is naturally diligent, rising early in the morning and going to bed late at night, not indulging in the pleasure of sleep, the pleasure of lying down, and the pleasure of relaxation. If something happens, in order to accomplish it, one overcomes the desire not to act, carefully analyzes laziness, and then begins to act. For all things, one is also definitely steadfast in effort, not abandoning effort completely until it is not done or finished, and even if one does not abandon it, one does not become discouraged. One does not become discouraged even with great matters, and one does not despise oneself, thinking that one is capable of understanding these, and generating joy and enthusiasm. One also relies on diligence when entering large gatherings, or competing with others, or refuting others, or engaging in other difficult tasks. One does not easily become weary of meaningful great efforts, let alone small matters. Those similar to this should be understood as signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's Perfection of Diligence. Furthermore, the signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's Perfection of Meditation are these: When the Bodhisattva seriously contemplates the Dharma, one does not naturally become too distracted. When one sees or hears of quiet forest dwellings, remote places, places far from people, places without sinful people, places suitable for inner calm abiding, one thinks, 'Alas, manifestation and complete solitude are happiness!', and one generates great joy in manifestation and complete solitude. Naturally, afflictions

When defilements are few and obscurations are few, adverse circumstances are also few. He dwells in extreme solitude, and when he fully contemplates his own benefit, he is not greatly disturbed by unsuitable, sinful thoughts, nor are they able to take hold of him. Even towards an unfriendly party, he quickly generates a mind of love, so what need is there to mention friends and ordinary people? When he sees or hears of sentient beings suffering from various kinds of pain, he generates a mind of great compassion, and in order to eliminate the suffering of those sentient beings, he practices to the best of his ability. By nature, he also wishes for sentient beings to benefit and be happy. He does not dislike adversity, such as fish suffering in the dry season, or suffering from enjoyment, or being killed, or being bound, or being expelled, and similar adversities. His mind is also pliable, and he is able to take, grasp, and deeply comprehend the Dharma. He also possesses the power of mindfulness, so he can recall things that happened a long time ago and things that were said a long time ago, and he can also cause others to recall them. Thus, such things as these should be understood as signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's perfection of meditation. Furthermore, the signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's perfection of wisdom are as follows: In order to enter all fields of knowledge, the Bodhisattva possesses innate wisdom. His mind is not dull, his intellect is not weak, and he is not of a deluded nature. He has the power of discriminating wisdom to avoid those places of heedlessness. Thus, such things as these should be understood as signs of the lineage of the Bodhisattva's perfection of wisdom. These are the coarse and inferable signs of the Bodhisattva's lineage. To ascertain the true meaning, only the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, directly see it. Because the lineage of the Bodhisattvas is by nature
