Those should also be understood appropriately. Furthermore, focusing on the forms of hair, body hair, nails, etc., within one's own body is dwelling in the contemplation of the body on the inner body. Focusing on the forms of hair, body hair, nails, etc., within the bodies of others is dwelling in the contemplation of the body on the outer body. Focusing on the nature of the body, whether one's own external body is unspoiled in forms such as being discarded, or whether the external bodies of others are spoiled or unspoiled in forms such as being discarded, is dwelling in the contemplation of the body on both the inner and outer bodies. Whatever feelings, thoughts, and phenomena arise in dependence on those should also be understood appropriately. It should be understood that there are also many categories similar to this through the detailed distinctions of body, feelings, mind, and phenomena. These are some of the few categories that have been correctly shown. In this regard, the four establishments of mindfulness established by the Blessed One are established as the antidotes to the four inversions. Among them, mindfulness of the body is established as the antidote to the inversion of impurity as purity. For example, when the Blessed One taught the contemplation of mindfulness of the body, the impure and the four charnel grounds of rising corpses, by repeatedly attending to those, one will abandon the inversion of purity in impurity. Among them, mindfulness of feelings is established as the antidote to the inversion of suffering as happiness. For example, dwelling in the contemplation of feelings, no matter what one feels slightly, one truly knows that those are suffering, and therefore one will abandon the inversion of happiness in that suffering. Among them, mindfulness of the mind is established as the antidote to the inversion of impermanence as permanence. For example, by distinguishing his mind with desire, etc., day and night and in an instant
