The meaning of "three circles are also completely purified by abandoning eight faults" is that the three circles are completely purified by abandoning eight faults. "Laziness and" means being fond of sleeping and lying down, and not being happy to teach the Dharma, which is laziness. This is the first fault, which the Tathagata does not possess. "Non-comprehension" means not understanding the self-characteristics and common characteristics of all dharmas, which is non-comprehension. This is the second fault, which the Tathagata does not possess. "Not skillful in timing" means that although there is no laziness and non-comprehension, one is not good at teaching the Dharma to disciples according to their needs, and does not actively teach the Dharma to others, which is not skillful in timing. This is the third fault, which the Tathagata does not possess. "Does not explain its meaning" means only teaching the Sutras of interpretive meaning, not teaching the Sutras of definitive meaning, not teaching the Sutras of definitive meaning, which is the fourth fault, which the Tathagata does not possess. "Doubts are also not removed" means that when teaching the Dharma, if the audience has doubts about the nature of all dharmas and does not eliminate them, it is the fifth fault, which the Tathagata does not possess. "Even if separated from it, it is not shown" means that even if doubts are resolved, disciples are not guided to engage in extensive contemplation on the true nature of Dharma, which is the sixth fault, which the Tathagata does not possess. "The meaning of not making a decision" means not guiding contemplation on the true nature of Dharma, which is not making a decision, that is, not giving instructions. "Weariness and stinginess are certain," "Regarding those words as faults" means sometimes teaching and sometimes not teaching, which is weariness. This is the seventh fault, the Tathagata constantly teaches the Dharma, so the Tathagata does not possess this fault. Teaching to some people and not teaching to others is stinginess. This is the eighth fault, the Tathagata teaches all dharmas and teaches all sentient beings, so the Tathagata does not possess this fault.

It means that. These eight faults are considered to be faults, obstacles, and sins during the discourse of the Dharma. If these are not present, then the Buddha's teachings become unsurpassed. If the Dharma is taught without the eight faults mentioned above, then all the Dharma taught by the Buddha is unsurpassed. To show that the words of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas are not only complete in words and letters, but also complete in meaning, these two verses are composed. Because faith, joy, and wisdom are the cause, it is a virtuous Dharma. There are two types of Dharma: the Dharma to be spoken and the Dharma to be understood. In the sutras, it is also said about these two Dharmas: it is good in the beginning, good in the middle, and good in the end. The meaning is good, the words are good, completely perfect, completely pure, and accurately shows the pure Brahmacharya. Explaining the meaning of these words is: when listening to the Dharma, it creates the cause of generating faith, so it is said to be good in the beginning. When thinking, it creates the cause of generating joy, so it is said to be good in the middle. When practicing, it creates the cause of generating wisdom, so it is said to be good in the end. In this way, all three times are good, so it is said that this Dharma is a virtuous Dharma. It has two meanings and is easy to understand, because it shows the two meanings of conventional truth and ultimate truth, so it is said that the meaning is good. Easy to understand means easy to grasp. Words and letters are also easy to grasp, and it shows the words and letters commonly used in the world, so it is said that the words are good. This shows the merits of the Dharma being taught. Speaking of the four merits of Brahmacharya. Brahma refers to Nirvana, because it is also said in the sutras: become Brahma, become cool, become Nirvana. The noble path that leads to the attainment of Nirvana is called Brahmacharya. This noble path also has four kinds of merits.

English

This Dharma shows the four qualities of pure conduct, which is its meaning. Furthermore, the meaning of "unparalleled and unique" is that it is not the same as others, which is its meaning. The Noble Path also exists only in this Dharma, because non-Buddhists do not have a path outside of this, so it is called "unique." "Complete by abandoning the three realms of afflictions," means that although worldly paths can abandon afflictions, they cannot abandon the afflictions of the peak of existence, so they cannot be called "complete." This Noble Path completely abandons all the afflictions of the three realms from the peak of existence downwards, without leaving any behind, so it is called "completely complete." The meaning of "naturally pure" is that the Noble Path is naturally pure, like crystal and the sky are naturally pure, and it is a nature without outflows, so it is called "pure." The meaning of "pure from defilements" is that the Noble Path eliminates the temporary defilements that exist in the mind-stream, making the mind without defilements, and afflictions do not arise in the mind-stream, but only arise in the mind-stream without outflows, so it is called "completely pure." "Desiring the four qualities of pure conduct," means that the Noble Path possesses four qualities, and these four qualities are uniqueness and completeness.
