Moreover, in the state of ordinary beings, the consciousness of the mind, which examines and analyzes yellow, blue, and so on, when it transforms, is called the discriminating awareness wisdom. That is, because it is the nature of understanding the characteristics of all phenomena as they are and comprehending their meaning, it is called discriminating awareness wisdom. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Buddha Land, it is also said: Just as the world realm is surrounded by the surrounding and the great surrounding, so too, the discriminating awareness wisdom of the Tathagatas, in all ways, is not confused about the self-characteristics and general characteristics of all phenomena, and completely surrounds them. That is, it is not that it understands the self-characteristics and general characteristics of some phenomena, but that it understands the self-characteristics and general characteristics of all phenomena, which is called constantly unhindered by the knowable. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Buddha Land, it is also said: Just as the world realm can know various forms at once, so too, the discriminating awareness wisdom of the Tathagatas becomes the cause of knowing various forms of wisdom that is unattached to all that is to be known. Therefore, in the Sutra Showing the Appearance of the Tathagata, it is also said: The Buddha Bhagavan is the great sun of wisdom, because he illuminates all that is to be known with wisdom. That which is like a treasure of samadhi and dharani, is just that. That is to say, from the discriminating awareness wisdom, immeasurable samadhis such as courageous samadhi arise, and immeasurable dharanis such as inexhaustible treasuries arise, therefore it is said to be the treasure of them. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Buddha Land, it is also said: Moreover, the wisdom of most perfectly true observation is such that, just as the world realm becomes the support of sentient beings, so too, the discriminating awareness wisdom of the Tathagatas becomes the support of samadhi and the door of dharani, as well as individual correct knowledge, fearless proclamation, and the dharmas of the Buddhas.

Also in... All wealth is fully displayed. This means that with the wisdom of discernment, in the mandala of the retinue who have entered the bodhisattva grounds, the wealth of external enjoyment is shown, such as the land of jewels, the trees of jewels, and the various forms of Lādīs. Therefore, it is also said in the Sutra of the Buddha Land: "For example, just as the world realm is fully enjoyed by sentient beings, so too does the wisdom of discernment of the Tathāgatas manifest in all the perfect Buddha mandalas in various ways, and fully enjoy the jewel of the Dharma." Cutting off all doubts. This means that with the wisdom of discernment, all doubts that arise about the nature and common characteristics of the Mahāyāna Dharma are cut off. Raining down the great rain of Dharma. This means that with the wisdom of discernment, the profound and vast Mahāyāna Dharma is shown to those who have entered the bodhisattva grounds. Therefore, it is also said in the Sutra of the Buddha Land: "For example, just as the world realm appears with the appearance of jewel mountains such as Mount Sumeru, so too does the wisdom of discernment of the Tathāgatas fully manifest the vast Dharma to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who possess power." In order to explain the nature of the wisdom of accomplishing activities, it is said: The wisdom of accomplishing activities, in all realms, in various immeasurable and countless ways, accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings. This means that with the wisdom of accomplishing activities, in all the realms of the ten directions, through the emanation of body, the emanation of mind, and the emanation of speech, the benefit of all sentient beings, both noble and non-noble, is accomplished. These emanations also accomplish the benefit of sentient beings in various ways, and accomplish the benefit of inconceivable sentient beings. For example, by emanating into the forms of various sentient beings such as gods, nāgas, yakshas, gandharvas, and so on, therefore benefiting sentient beings in various ways.
