Since the path does not have prior and subsequent parts, it cannot be perfectly established. Therefore, the path is not the ultimate truth. Since it is not perfectly established, it cannot be compared to the ultimate truth. Then, how can it be said that unconditioned and conditioned phenomena are the nature of perfect establishment? Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: "Unchanging, non-inverted, two kinds of perfect establishment." Alternatively, perfect establishment is suchness, which is free from the two characteristics of other-dependence. Therefore, neither nirvana nor the path can be perfectly established. Then, how can it be said that nirvana is unconditioned and the path is conditioned, and that both are the nature of perfect establishment? This should not be a matter of dispute, because for it, the absence of both is perfect establishment. The absence of both itself is perfect establishment, and it does not negate anything other than it. Therefore, in addition to it, the two perfect establishments of unchanging and non-inverted should also be connected with perfect establishment. Unconditioned phenomena are nirvana and suchness. Since unconditioned phenomena do not have other changes, they are perfectly established in an unchanging way, therefore they are perfectly established. Conditioned phenomena refer to those included in the path, not others. Since they are perfectly established in a non-inverted way, they should be connected with perfect establishment. How to understand it? Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: "Because there is no inversion in knowable things." The reason for saying this is that knowable things do not become inverted, therefore the path is perfectly established. Therefore, due to different ideas, both conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are perfectly established, so there is no contradiction. Among them, the scripture says: "One is worldly fame." This refers to the nature of the imputed, which does not exist as it is said, and not others. Since its own nature is not understood, things are mentioned extensively. Terminology refers to understanding the connection between names and things with names. Familiarity refers to repeatedly practicing and observing it. Among them, what is the wisdom that follows? What is the wisdom that follows after familiarity with terminology? That is mindfulness, and it says:
