The special distinction is that of subduing all the worlds with power, and of blessing through transforming as desired by contemplating and manifesting as desired by mastering in your mind. The distinction of the exhaustive birth is that it is shown by wisdom pervading all knowable things, and therefore, since it is liberated from the opposing qualities of liberation and so on, it is mind liberation. Verses of distinction without affliction: All sentient beings, all afflictions without exception, are subdued. To the one who destroys afflictions, with compassion, I prostrate. Here, the distinction of the Blessed One without affliction is that of subduing the afflictions of all sentient beings, and also for those who generate afflictions, making them the antidote to their afflictions, and truly teaching with compassion to afflicted beings. Other beings who abide without affliction only abandon the causes of the arising of some afflictions of sentient beings with them as objects, but do not eliminate the afflictions that have arisen from the continuum. Verses of distinction known from aspiration: Spontaneously accomplished, without attachment, without obstruction, always abiding, equally abiding, answering all questions, to you I prostrate. Here, the distinction of the Blessed One's knowledge from aspiration is truly shown in five ways: spontaneously accomplished manifestation, manifestation without attachment, unobstructedness to all knowable things, constant abiding in equanimity, and cutting off all doubts of sentient beings. Other beings who have attained knowledge from aspiration do not manifest knowledge from aspiration by aspiration or spontaneous accomplishment. Nor is it without attachment, because it depends on meditative absorption. Nor is it unobstructed, because it only knows a part. Nor is it always abiding in equanimity, nor can it cut off all doubts. Verses of distinction of individual perfect knowledge: Support and supported, what is to be said and what can be said, speech and wisdom and what explains, wisdom constant without

To the one with the crown knot, I prostrate! Here, in brief, regarding what is to be explained by what, with the very nature of wisdom that is always unobstructed, the four individual perfect knowledges of the Bhagavan are shown. Among them, the basis, the Dharma, and the meaning that depends on it, these two are to be explained. With speech and wisdom, these two are to be elucidated. With the very nature of the one who shows well, the actions of these are truly shown. The verses of distinguishing the superknowledges: Having gone, knowing the conduct, With the speech of those beings, To coming, going, and definite departure, Well teaching, to you I prostrate! Here, with the six superknowledges, the perfect teaching of the Bhagavan is shown. With the superknowledge of miraculous power, having gone before those to be tamed, with the superknowledge of the variety of minds, knowing the conduct of the mind. With the superknowledge of the divine ear, with the speech of those. With the remaining three superknowledges, in order, knowing how they come here from the previous end, and how they go to the later end, and how they definitely depart from samsara, thus bestowing teachings. The verses of distinguishing the excellent marks and signs: All embodied beings, seeing you, Know you are an excellent person, Just seeing, causing great joy, Maker, to you I prostrate! Here, with faith in the Bhagavan as a great person, the actions of the excellent marks and signs are truly shown, just seeing causes others to be extremely delighted. The verses of distinguishing the completely pure: Taking, abiding, and abandoning, Emanating and completely transforming, Samadhi and wisdom, Having attained mastery, to you I prostrate! Here, with the four kinds of power, the four purities of the Bhagavan are completely shown in every way. The purity of the basis is because of having mastery over taking the body, abiding in the body, and abandoning the body. The purity of the object is because of having mastery over emanation and complete transformation. The purity of the mind is because of having mastery over all kinds of samadhi. The purity of wisdom is because of having mastery over all kinds of wisdom. The words of distinguishing the powers.
