In that vastness, birth occurs and endurance in practice is possible. What is the ultimate perfection of these two aspects? It is known from the lineage of the Bodhisattva, who possesses the qualities of self-nature and increases. Qualities are extremely vast, for the sake of growing the Bodhi tree, for the sake of attaining the pacification of great happiness and great suffering, for the sake of benefiting oneself and others as a result. That supreme lineage is like a good root. From the Ornament of the Great Vehicle Sutras, the fourth chapter, the chapter on Lineage, is complete. Great joy and great effort, great meaning and great arising, the hero of the Bodhisattva, the arising of a mind with two meanings. The arising of the mind on all the grounds, pure faith and intention, and other desires for maturation, likewise abandoning all obscurations. The root of that is considered compassion, always thinking of benefiting sentient beings, faith in the Dharma and likewise, seeking wisdom as the object. The desire to go upwards is the conduct, the vast vows are its basis, obstructing the path is the opposite, requesting and accepting it. The increase of virtue, which is the nature of merit and wisdom, is its benefit, always practicing the perfections, that is considered definite liberation. The ultimate of this is the ground, each individually uniting with it, the arising of the mind of the Bodhisattva, should be known as definitely determined. The power of companions, the power of causes, the power of roots, the power of hearing, arising from the habituation of virtue, unstable and stable arising, the arising of the mind taught by others is explained. Having closely attended the perfect Buddha, having accumulated vast amounts of merit and wisdom, because the non-conceptual wisdom towards the Dharma is born, that is considered sacred. The Dharma and all sentient beings, and the deeds of that Buddha himself, for the sake of finding equality of mind in the supreme, the great joy of that is particularly excellent. Rejoicing in that vast birth, the intention is also pure, and skillful in other purities, and should be known as definite liberation. Faith in the Dharma is the seed, born from the supreme mother of the perfections, the womb of bliss born from meditation, compassion is the mother who gives birth. In order to accomplish the ten great aspirations, it should be known as vast, in order not to tire of long-term suffering, it should be understood as joy, in order to closely realize Bodhi and to obtain the wisdom of its means.

Therefore. One should know that the mind is pure. Being skilled in the ways of other places. How to contemplate distinctions. To know that it is indeed discrimination. Also, not to discriminate against it. One should know that it will definitely arise. It is the same as giving birth. Others are like the finest gold. Like the waxing moon. Others should be known as like fire. Others should be known as like a great treasure. Others are like the source of jewels. Others should be known as like the ocean. Like a vajra, like Mount Meru. Like the king of medicine. Others should be known as like a great friend. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Others should be known as like the sun. Others are like the sweet sound of a Gandharva. Others should be known as like a king. Likewise, others are like a storehouse. Should be known as like a great path. Should be known as like a vehicle. The arrangement of generating the mind is not the same. Like a joyful sound. Like the flow of a great river. The mind generation of the sons of the Buddhas. Is taught as being like clouds. Therefore, in that way, rich in qualities. The mind is well generated with joy. Those beings who have abandoned the mind generation are greatly to be pitied. For the sake of others, the mind and the means to attain it. The meaning of the great intent and seeing its supreme meaning. Having abandoned happiness, they will go to peace. As soon as the excellent mind of the wise one is born. Immediately, the mind thoroughly restrains the actions that cause endless faults. By doing what benefits both, always virtue. The loving one rejoices in happiness and suffering. When, for the sake of others, one does not consider body and life. And accepts the commitment very slowly. How does such a one engage in actions that harm others? He understands all phenomena as like illusions. And understands birth as like going to a pleasure garden. Even in times of prosperity and times of decline. He is not afraid of afflictions and suffering. He delights in benefiting sentient beings with his own qualities. He consciously takes birth and performs miraculous transformations. Adornments, feasts, supreme lands, love, and joy. Are not present in those who are not of the nature of compassion. This one, diligent for the sake of others, is of the nature of compassion. When he rejoices even in the Avici hell. Such beings, in existence, rely on others. How can they be afraid of the arising of suffering? The teacher, the great compassionate one, is the master who is always relied upon. The suffering of others.
