If it changes from its previous state, then it becomes impermanent. If it does not produce such benefits, then dependence is also contradictory, because everything becomes dependent on everything. Furthermore, when the conditions are not complete, although the sovereign wants to produce some results, because it does not produce, the unobstructed sovereignty is lost. Moreover, if that other condition is produced by the sovereign, then depending on the result produced by oneself is also contradictory. If not, then everything being produced by the sovereign is lost. If it is said that when this produces the result, although it does not depend on other conditions, the results are produced sequentially due to his own will. Because the will to produce now exists, it is produced now. Without such a will, wanting to produce after that, etc., is also the same, then, is this will and the sovereign one or different? It should be examined. If it is one, then just as the sovereign exists constantly, the will also exists, and it is contradictory that some results do not arise now due to the lack of will. If they are different, then the production of the result depends on the will that has changed from oneself, so the unobstructed nature of the sovereign is lost. Furthermore, if such a will is produced by the sovereign, then depending on the result produced by oneself to produce other results is also contradictory. If it does not produce, then everything being produced by the sovereign is lost. Furthermore, among sentient beings, those who do things that please the sovereign, and those actions that harm him and do not do things of faith, if those actions depend on the sovereign, then it is unreasonable to make them do actions that harm oneself and do not do things of faith. Just as knowingly harming oneself is unreasonable. If it is said that one is not aware that such actions will harm oneself, then the commitment that he is omniscient is lost. Furthermore, the actions that harm the sovereign, after the sovereign himself has done them, it is unreasonable for its consequences, the suffering of the lower realms, etc., to ripen on other sentient beings. Just as eating food given by others, it is unreasonable for others to die of thirst. If such actions do not depend on the sovereign, then everything

If what is created by Īśvara also perishes. If it depends on Īśvara, then those beings who act in that way must also depend on causes such as their own desires, and then their fruits will also ripen on beings. Even so, without the fruits of good and bad beings, the unobstructed power and independence of Īśvara would be impaired. Furthermore, are the causes such as the desires of these beings also created by Īśvara or not? Like this, the constant debate is the same, it is only a matter of understanding the meaning. Furthermore, in mere terms, it is seen that sprouts arise from the aggregation of seeds, and smoke arises from fire, and the happiness and suffering of heavens and bad destinies also arise from certain distinctions of karma, as has been previously taught. Other than that, it is unreasonable to arise from permanent entities such as Īśvara. Furthermore, there are three ways to prevent arising from impermanent things that have changed. Among them, the view that arising from what has passed away and from the future is the doctrine of the Vaiśeṣikas, which is easy to refute. It is also unreasonable to arise from things that arise simultaneously, because when what is manifestly accepted as the cause is established, the effect is also already established, so it is unreasonable to arise from the cause. If the cause is not established, it is also empty of all power, so it is unreasonable for the effect to arise from it, which is the same as preventing arising from oneself. Furthermore, just as with the right and left horns, it is unreasonable to determine that this is the cause and this is the effect for two things that are established simultaneously, because the reasons are the same, so they will become mutually confused. Therefore, the view that the present thing arises from the immediately preceding moment in relation to the time of the effect is the scripture of those who are skilled in the way of terms. The Blessed One also said in the Ārya Śālistamba Sūtra: What is called dependent origination is like this: this arising, that arises; this arising, that arises; for example, with ignorance as a condition, there are actions. Examining this is also unreasonable, because the two moments of cause and effect are not separated from each other in their entirety, the moment of the cause itself becomes the cause.
